I got these to perform a quick repair of my daughter's piccolo. She had a performance coming up and we didn't have time to use a shop for repair.I got these the next day, but then learned that they don't just stick on with a backing or something like that. That is my fault for not researching how it is done. You need an adhesive that melts as it is heated. I'm a pinch, i got a pack of low temperature hit glue gun sticks. I cut off a small sliver and put it into the bank side of the key. I used a heat shrink gun i had (hot hair dryer may work, but I'm not sure if it is not enough). Headed the key until the glue melted and then a little more to have time to reassemble. Put the pad in straight and using smooth plyers, put the key back in place. Once quickly installed, Depress the key so the pad pushes against the hole and is perfectly straight for a good seal. I used a rubber band to hold the key until fully cooled. It has been working great. No need to take back for a professional repair.

This is a nice piccolo kit, but the pads did not fit my vintage King piccolo.

there were not enough of the medium sized pads(had two of extra small ones instead), and i have a very standard/average sized piccolo. now i have to order another set because i ran out

I have been needing these for a while since my old piccolo pads ripped. It comes with everything in the picture but does not come with adhesive.
