The balance of molybdenum disulfide with surface modified synthetic graphite combines to penetrate for a wide variety of applications over a wide temperature range. 550 Extreme is the ideal product for petrochemical plant maintenance needs. Its homogeneous composition offers maximum protections against seizure and heat freeze, eases assembling and dismantling and saves man hours. It assures protection against rust, oxidation and corrosion. It will not harden, evaporate, or settle out; and it requires no thinning. In addition to molybdenum disulfide (MoS2), graphite and low friction fillers 550 Extreme utilizes a new generation complex base grease that is fortified with effective rust and corrosion inhibitors and inherent anti-wear properties. Each principal anti-seize, low friction ingredients has important properties and characteristics. Personal precautions: wear gloves and protective overalls. Environmental precautions: do not allow it to enter drains. Spillage: scrape up bulk, then wipe up remainder with cloth. To prevent walking hazard, pick up remaining residue with diatomaceous earth. Handling: no special handling precautions necessary. Storage: do not store at elevated temperatures. Respiratory protection: none needed. Hand protection: protective gloves for hypersensitive persons. Eye protection: glasses, if applied to parts in motion. Body protection: overalls. Meets specs or exceeds specs for AR barrel nuts. Spread a thin layer to entire thread. Non-metalic and good tempuature specs. Don't use locktite on barrel nut. The locktite in photo background is for the gas block!
