There is so much #40 chain available on Amazon since 1/2" pitch is so common. It was definitely needed to read up online about chain measurements. Then you must read closely to find out #41 chain has the same common 1/2" pitch but is narrower, which is just what I needed for my riding mower. Then I was glad I also purchased the Amazon suggested Chain Breaker tool to make a shorter piece out of the 10 foot chain suitable for my application.

This chain seems more solid and durable than others I have tried. Using it on a restoration project with my daughters old mini bike. Fits the old sprocket perfectly and so far very little stretch

I haven't tested the link or the chain yet but I cut it to size and it took a little while its very heavy duty and packaging was great. Its a little oily so its hard to assemble without towels.

This is a 10' #40 chain with 2 master links. The chain comes in a plastic bag and is heavily oiled to prevent rust. The master links are inside little bags inside the larger one with the chain, so just when you think they only sent you one, take another look inside the big bag and you'll likely find the other master link stuck due to the oil.I removed some of the oil with part cleaner, but there was still small sludge-like debris between the links. It doesn't seem to affect the chain performance, so it works for me.All in all, it's a chain and it'll get the job done. Measure your sprockets and if they are around 1/4 in, then this chain will probably better suited than a #40 chain as the #40 is around 1/16 wider.
