Installed in my Sea Ray spring of 2020. It was dead by the end of the boating season. Went out every Saturday and it sounded good til around August-September when it stopped working. Waste of my hard earned money.

Sounded good had it a month and it quit working wish it had a better warranty. Not gonna bash it just wish there was warranty on it. For as much as it cost and all it lasted. In my opinion they should send you another one

I've seen a bunch of negative reviews on this woofer. I was nervous of my purchase. I have an 18 ft open bow with a pretty new snap cover. I keep my boat in the water from May to October on a fresh water lake. The woofer was super easy to install. I installed it under the stearing column. I used the factory supplied wire harness, ran a power wire from the battery, grounded to the terminal block behind the instrument pannel. I purchased a marine grade rca cable from Amazon. I had two 5 1/2 inch speakers, the woofer definitely filled in the mid to bottom end. I use the woofer for this entire summer. Sometimes when I would use it for 6+ hours it would cut out due to overheating, but I feel like that is my fault for installing it where there was no air movement for cooling. It worked every time I got on my boat this season. I got lots of compliments on the bass this season. Its definitely not the same if you were to purchase a marine amp and a woofer, but for a self powered marine woofer I have zero complaints. Definitely happy with my purchase.

I got this amp as a "used - very good" item, i could not be happier with this decision. The sub came in PERFECT condition and did not appear to be used at all. The install was extremely easy and the compact design allowed me to mount it under the drivers side console. For an 8" sub thats relatively low powered, it sounds great and provides plenty of bass for most applications. The only (very small) downside is the connectors on the wiring harness. The bolts on my battery terminals were a larger diameter than what the connectors would fit around. This is an easy fix, i just bent the connectors out a tad to make them fit, or you could always cut them off and put on wider ones. This is not a big enough issue to make me recommend this system any less. If you want an affordable option to add some bass to your boat, dont hesitate!

The speaker is super easy to install and it's very thin and small. The sound however isn't that great. It's loud but you must turn the bass down to avoid losing quality.

I installed the Jensen 8" subwoofer in my pontoon. I have a four speaker system in it and it had decent mid to high range but really lacked any low-end punch. This Jensen unit adds a bit of kick but not what I fully expected. It is still a definite improvement but I wanted a bit more. It is still worth the money and does improve the listening experience.

Installed in the helm of my pontoon boat today and it does exactly what I was hoping it would do. Gives nice deep bass at low volumes and let's you crank it up too. It won't thump the entire sandbar but it does give you much better sound on your boat. Very pleased with this purchase.
