I ordered this for our dart board, no where in any store could we find the right size. I'm hoping it'll work for what we want. There's no frame, so we might get something to go around it.

The product is broken before we even used it. Came to us this way because the cork is too brittle and weak. Too thin.

It is a thick piece of real cork for your dart board backer. I had to build a wood backer for it to hang on the patio wall. I think most applications will need a sturdy backer unless you are planning on gluing it to a fairly smooth wall. It would not hold up by just corner screws. They would pull through and the cork would fall. It is heavy.I need the ability move mine in very bad weather since it is outside. Very well covered, but still outside. I glued the cork to a piece of lauan I cut to the same size and put some 1/4" plywood strips on the back as a square frame. With some brackets on the corners and hanging hardware, she is mounted perfect. I got my light and chalkboard hug and we are ready to play. Not related to the cork, but my "house" darts are pretty good for guests to use when they are here.

I have purchased three of these corkboards in one month, and only one has successfully shipped undamaged. The undamaged one works perfectly. The two damaged items look as though someone putting the item into the box was careless and aggressively grabbed the side of the corkboard, bending it. This material is not as robust as I had thought. Normally, I wouldn't care too much but this is the location where I am going to screw into the wall. The corkboard will break off when I do that.

Used as Dartboard surround for misses. Thick enough to stop darts before getting in to the wall. It showed up in good shape, thankfully, and was easy to cut with a sharp razor knife and straight edge to keep the line clean. Used two sided tape to put it in place. (If you use two sided tape to install, use a pretty good bit of it to support the weight of this product, it is fairly dense)

It was easy to hang this with screws in studs--just have to be careful to not go too aggressive with the drill because otherwise you could just push right through and then it won't hang in a sturdy manner. Perfect for behind our dartboard, though somehow my kids' aim has gotten even worse now. Or maybe they just like seeing the darts stick in the wall...

We cut a circle out of this using the dartboard as a template and sandwiched the 2 together. It works GREAT! No marks in the wall at all. And then I used the circle for a bulletin board. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a dartboard. You could probably mount this and then put a longer nail through the dartboard, but we are in a rental and wanted to minimize holes in the wall.
