I live in Florida beachside and these thing have a limited lifetime.... and one day they break... would probably live a lot longer if I took them in every night... not going to do that... it does have a tie when not open... and they deliver... my favorite part of any amazon product

Does the trick and seems really well built. My only regret, and this is 100% on me, is that I wish I went with a darker shade. The only reason for that is that I have this to give me shade while watching baseball games out on my deck. I bought the off-white version to match my chair cushions. But, that reflects off the TV. Thus, I wish I went with black. But, again, that is me. Otherwise, this is worth way more than what I paid for it. Price is way too less for the quality that you get. Civil affordable that I actually may purchase black just because.

This is the 3rd patio umbrella I've bought in about the past 3 years. The first 2 didn't make it as far as sturdiness was concerned, and the last one's rib construction just wouldn't hold up. This umbrella is excellent with nice sturdy ribbings that appear not to be able to fail at all. The price was also right and a big bargain since it is much less expensive than the previous 2 failed umbrellas. I highly recommend this umbrella in the color of your choice!

The color is rich. Nice fabric material. My problem was the hinge. It's cheap plastic, breaks with mildly moderate wind. Used a hose clamp to keep it straight.
