I had never lapped valves before, but it was super easy, and this stuff did the job at a great price. I could hear the sound of the grinding change after lapping, which let me know when each valve was done. It was easy to see the contact pattern on each valve and seat after lapping for 20-30 seconds. This tube will probably last me a lifetime.

Doesn't give the control of different stages/grits, but it'll work if you do it right. Good enough for anything but a high end racing job (actual purpose built racing, not stoplight drag). Do NOT spin the valves or it'll cut deep grooves that will mess things up. Rotate back and forth--the shorter the arc the better. Don't add any pressure other than just enough to keep the valve from lifting. Do NOT let the valve lift up or you'll have to start over again from the roughest grit. Just keep going. You'll hear the pitch and feel the smoothness change. Don't over do it.
