How to Use Curved Scissors for Dog Grooming?
When using the curved scissors, the dog groomer must take care not to over turn the blades. If you have been trimming a round shape using a straight scissor you must be aware that the curve of the blade does the shaping for you and if you over turn the scissor you may take off too much coat. Inverting a curved scissors can make it easier to add shape into the bend in a back leg or to set the neck at the top line.
Having a curved dog grooming scissor is an essential and great addition to any dog groomer's tool kit.

I love the curve of these, which makes it much safer to get around the eyes! Ive done human hair forever and it's hard to find decent left handed shears! These are left handed, and cheap, and great shears! highly recommend

These scissors arrive in an elegant pretty black case, look very professional. I do,not recommended these scissors; I think the manufacturer forgot to sharpen the set. Upon using these scissors for the first time to groom my Shitzu , they did not cut his hair at all, I wound up using my personal surgical scissors . I purchased this set to replace the set I had purchased via Amazon a few years ago, these did not work.

I have got to say I have purchased every left handed shear from the Jason collection and they all have worked great except for this pair. I was pretty disappointed because I am a professional dog groomer and I had previously purchased the same thinning shears for my work and they worked great. So I figured I would purchase another one for home grooming my own dogs, but they were not sharp at all. Unfortunately I didn't try them out until a few weeks later, so I could no longer return them. I now have to pay to get them sharpened. I was pretty disappointed.

I was absolutely shocked how amazing these are and they are soo cheap but great quality and they cut amazing it’s rare to find a good set of left handed anything for a good price I’m soo happy with these definitely recommend

These are very good scissors and sharp as can be. When I started grooming my dog I bought cheaper ones. This was a mistake that I made twice. Then I got these and WOW what a difference. But be careful. I chonked a couple of fingers pretty severely

Left Handed Curves -So these scissors should not work as well as they do. They're cheaply produced, inexpensive, and ship in only a few days. They're lightweight, and basically a copy of Purple Dragon shears. But for some reason, they come in sharp, keep their edge for a long time, and they're tough little guys. Im a left-handed professional groomer, and I struggle to find lefty scissors that don't break the bank. I use these things on 100% of my grooms, 100% of the time. They go right through drooly muzzle fur, thick whiskers, tangles, double coats, doodle coats, and I've banged them against some dog nails when trimming the feet. THEY. HOLD. UP.Granted, I recommended this brand to my right-handed coworker and she didn't have the same luck. She couldn't find this exact pair of curves, and hers felt clunkier and the edge wore down in a matter of weeks. Mine can go six months without sharpening, unless I happen to accidentally throw them into a trash can. But that's only happened once.

This is NOT a cheap set and is everything it should be! The various blades are very finely detailed and machined. Know it will serve for years for your own dog or even a groomer. The case is an added feature. My son was thrilled and now saves money by doing his own grooming instead of having it done for considerably more money and stress.

Both my wife and I find theses to be sharp and great for cutting fur around my dogs paws and also their long haired coats. I think they will last a very long time

I am not a professional groomer, rather just someone choosing the self taught method, I find these blenders work great, Thinking someone with a larger hand would make a better fit with the Jason Scissor, which was an issue with my previous pair, too cramped and small finger holes. they a smooth and cut fine to the tip.
