I purchased this about a year ago to have for a backup A string. Today I needed it. Put it on, started tuning it up, and it immediately broke. A brand new string! Terrible.

We love the string. It is the preferred one that we use. But we keep having to change it out because it break so easily. We will keep using it because that is what we prefer but if there was a better option we would be all over it if it lasted longer

Ordered a full set of Jargar Superior strings. Changed the strings out and the Jargar A string broke. Okay, well it happens I guess. I didn't over tighten or even rush the stretch of the string. Got to G# and PING... no more A string.Ordered another $40 Jargar Superior A string. Put it on with no issues. Got in tune, played for a bit. Thought I'd give it a day or two to stretch and it would then not need constant tuning. Played a little on day one... maybe 45 minutes. About the same on day two.Now its day three and the string would not keep tune. Could get to G# then it would stretch. Peg was not slipping. The string would stretch. Finally got it close to A. Then to A and picked up my bow and PING... no more A string.Disappointed and $80+ in the hole for A strings that just break.BTW, when it was good on day one and two, it was a very nice sound. Bright, projecting, not tin-y or twangy.Love the other three Jargars... all great. Now I guess I get to see what they sound like with a Larsen A.No more Jargar As for me.As for the seller... Item was shipped quick. Came when it was supposed to and was as advertised.Love the seller...Hate the string.
