This spatula design is my favorite for sourdough starter feeds.There isn’t a seam on the spatula so clean up is simple.

I absolutely love this little spatula. It is flexible, yet stiff enough to scrape the inside of any jar. I can most of my food and have been looking for a tool that will clean out the last drop of jelly, butter, etc. It even cleaned out a peanut butter and a honey jar.

This silicon spatula is sturdy and thick. The handle length is good. It has good overall balance too. That said, my hands are small. It’s easy to grip and hold onto if you have arthritic hands. I wanted to love these. Unfortunately, they have a slight texture to them; including the spreading blade. They do not cleanly spread nut butters, butter, jelly, mayo or frosting. There’s always spread stuck to the spatula. Worse still, because the rough textured blade, if you’re dealing with soft breads, or cakes the spread your laying down doesn’t “clean” AND it picks up bread or cake crumb in the frosting etc; so you either have to manually wash and wipe it down before getting more frosting, or make a disaster of your frosting job by contaminating your clean frosting with a bunch of crumbs.I have an old silicon spatula that desperately needs to be replaced. It’s as smooth as a metal kitchen knife or spatula. It doesn’t have this issue. Sadly, I’ve purchased four different ones from Amazon sellers and they’ve all had one issue or another.

Strong. Work well. Easy to grip. Wish they were a tad bit longer but worth the $.
