Does what it’s supposed to do. Works very well and extremely durable and well made. Every household needs one.

This is just what my mom needed to help her open up bottles and jars.

This jar opener looked like a previous one we had, but it did not work well at all. The plastic is slippery, and does not grip the lid at all. You almost need three hands to make it work properly. You can pass this one up.It has been sitting in my kitchen drawer for a month or two now. I tried again using it a few times. not only is it completely worthless, it might even be hazardous. You have to squeeze it so hard and it slips off so easily you could Hurt yourself or send a glass jar crashing through the floor. In my opinion it should be recalled by the manufacturer.

Needed a jar opener for aging seniors with weak arm and hand strength. Most devices are slightly tricky until you get the hang of it, especially since you usually need one hand on the device + the other holding the jar. Decide to go with Eazy Off.Sharing some observations after testing these devices:EZ Off Jar Opener for Weak Handshttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B000X6K9J8?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsAllows two hands to grip the jar. Probably get the most leverage if you place device where arms can fully extend, or on a lower cabinet shelf where elbow is almost 90 degrees, which also allows a little body weight to help keep the jar in place. Find a shelf that's not recessed so you can actually see the edge of the device as a guide to insert the jar.OXO Good Grips Twisting Jar Openerhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B09ZC55TP2?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsWide spread of teeth on both clamps to grip the lid. Worked on an assortment of lids. Not easy for seniors with weak arm / hand strength since the offset handle still needs some strength to create leverage, and still need a hand to hold the jar (unless you get a partner to help). For this device, you need to pull (or twist) the handle while still pressing the center spindle with your palm to avoid the device slipping off the lid. Giving it 4 stars because it feels like a solid OXO design except not good for seniors.Master Opener Adjustable Jar & Bottle Openerhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B08L12PRDZ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsRatchet-like design that works but dimples (bites) both sides of the lid. Ratchet provides good clamping force to open the jar. Teeth only one side of the clamp. Need to ensure both sides of the clamp are against the lid when you close (grip) the ratchet, otherwise device slips off. However, not the easiest device for aging seniors with weak arm / hand strength.Jar Opener Can Opener Bottle Opener for Senior, Arthritis Hands and Anyone with Low Strength, Arthritis Jar Opener Get Lids Off Easilyhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Z8CTTYF?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsDespite assortment of openings on this device, it was still awkward figuring out which one would fit a Classico spaghetti lid. Requires some wide handed grip strength so not ideal for aging seniors with weakening hands.

I purchased one for my mother and one for my sister. They called me and said where was this all their lives. They asked me to order them another so they can have one for upstairs. This is definitely a excellent product for seniors and anyone who don’t have a lot of strength in their hands.

After breaking a similar jar/bottle opener, I knew I could not get along without one of these in the house. When I have a jar or bottle to open, this new opener works great. No more strain on the the hands struggling to open jars and bottles. Aging is no fun but this jar/bottle does help relieve some of the stress and strain.

This works fine for opening jars that match up well with its fixed sizes. Unfortunately, many jar lids are larger, and it won't work on them. The first thing I tried it on was a jar of salsa and it would not fit the lid. I'll probably keep this, but I need to find something that supports all lid sizes.

A few years back I bought 12 of these type openers and gave all away except one that I kept for me. My husband BROKE mine trying to open something he should not have. He was in the dog house and I remained him Daily! When I ran Across them on Amazon, I couldnt buy it fast enough. This time I bought 4 Just For Our House, and Instructed him that it's only to be used for what it was intended to Open. I'm about to Order a Bunch More for Gifts and for our Horse Trailer and Camping Trailer. This has helped my Arthritis Hands So Much. Pops open lid to my 16.9 oz drink bottles, pickle jars, anything that needs open. And it's not for just one size Jar. It Fits Multiple Jars. Best Tool I've Ever Used!!!
