Story of Peace
Melonva is a traditional workshop, designs things what will cheer people by some tiny surprises.
When a new design of the desk zen garden came to Melonva workshop, we were deeply worried. It is just not what we wanted to do. Design by trends.
After that, we have consulted a lot of books, then asked ourselves thousands of times, what does zen spirit really brings to us? How can we make a real desk zen garden with surprises?
One day we had came to visit a master of zen garden (kare sann sui), he had just finished a garden and looked totally exhausted, but he still had a kind smile on his face. We asked why and he said "every movement makes my soul purer, I'm feeling it." We were so surprised about that.
And now, we believe we found it, this is what the surprise we want to add into a desk zen garden, people want peace, the quiet peace.
Quiet peace you can find from every movement enjoying the Zen time.

Flexible but plastic items not climate friendly or visually. Sand is not sand but appears to be a grade of shredded plastic.

Bummed to receive this today to find the turtle arm is broken off and the paper with the ocean waves on it is wrinkled and bent. I will be returning and I wouldnât recommend this product.

I absolutely love having my own personal beach at my desk and all my coworkers love it too. They have to stop by my desk just to play with it. Itâs so relaxing and fun to have. Itâs always adorable! I did superglue the trees down to the paper so they wouldnât keep falling over. Worked like a dream.
