This Jameson Glow Fish Rod Kit is a solid choice for anyone running wires through ceilings, walls, floors, or crawl spaces. The fiberglass glow rods provide great visibility in dark areas, which is especially useful for electricians and low-light work environments. The rods are sturdy and non-conductive, making them safe to use around electrical installations. One of the standout features is the threaded ferrules, which allow customization of rod length depending on the job. The included bullet nose eyelet and hook attachments add versatility, making it easier to grasp or pull wires through tricky spaces. With a 750-lb pull strength, the rods feel durable and reliable for most wiring tasks. The 12 ft total length (split into three 4-ft rods) offers a good balance between flexibility and rigidity, though it might not be long enough for some extended runs. The included plastic storage tube is a nice touch, helping keep everything organized.Pros:Bright glow for visibility in dark spacesStrong yet flexible for navigating turnsThreaded ferrules allow customizationNon-conductive fiberglass for safetyIncludes useful attachments for pulling and retrieving wiresCons:Limited to 12 ft, might not be long enough for all jobs, you may need additional kits to add additional length.Glow effect fades over time, fixable with exposure to sunlight (UV)Overall, this is a well-designed, high-quality tool for professionals or DIYers who frequently run wiring through tight spaces. It’s reliable, safe, and easy to use, making it a worthy addition to any toolkit.

I was pretty disappointed in the amount of glow. Even though it looks great in the pictures, that was after charging with a UV light. The glow is very faint after a minute. It would be enough to see in a dark attic or wall cavity. Its a fine set of fish rods. I used these quite a bit around the house for running low voltage lines. Always handy to have set around.
