  • Prototyping made easy: A reusable construction base for prototyping of electronics. Also commonly referred to as a plugboard or terminal array board.
  • Easy Identification: Pins are identified by numnbered rows and columns making working more efficient and less stressful.
  • 0.1 inch spread: The holes in this breadboard are spaced 0.1" which is the most common spacing for breadboards to accommodate standard DIP components.
  • Suited for analog and low frequency circuitry: The breadboard has strips of metal sockets which run underneath the board, yellow rectangles, and connect the groups of five holes on the board.
  • Educational environment: Ideal for STEM projects and classroom atmospheres as it promotes learning and testing.

Use to breadboard and debug circuit designs.

A decent quality breadboard. I typically do not use these things because I hate the way they break contact all the time. But this one seemed to work ok, Could have been a little easier to push in some of the pins but aside from that it was of acceptable quality and worthwhile to own.

The breadboard works as well as a bread board should. I have a few others and this one is much nicer and easier to use.

I have several bread boards. The first one I bought 30 years ago and is as good as new. The ones I bought in the past don't even compare to my old one. Jameco makes an excellent one and I recommend to any one who want's to bread board electronic circuits.

Mine came bent slightly- first time ever from a Jameco product. Had to disassemble it and reset the screws so it would sit flat on the metal plate (see photo). I didn't go through the hastle of replacing it through Amazon- took less time for me to fix it myself. Had it been a serious bend or break, I would have started a replacement request.I don't think it was Jameco's fault. I've had countless products from them over the years- none of them came like this. Although I can't confirm this, it may have been Amazon's warehouse that faultered the product. It happens. Shipping was fine. So, don't be discouraged by my experience. These are great prototyping breadboards at a decent price here. I'm mentioning it because in spite of the problem, this breadboard can take abuse.Yes, pushing parts in the contacts is tight- you want that to keep them from breaking electrical continuity. The metal used is strong and has low resistance, so you have a better chance of running current through the power rails without degredation not to mention analog and digital signals. Way less noise with these. My one star removal was for the bend. It is an otherwise great breadboard- one you can trust above all the Chinese knockoffs out there. I reviewed one recently on Amazon that was so bad all my digital communication lines wouldn't hold a clean contact. Every connection was loose. It deserved one star, but gave it three.Great product. Recommended for prototyping.

This board works great.I suggest you avoid the cheap breadboards. This breadboard allowed me to plug in my raspberry pi pico w with headers without any issues. Cheap clones were problematic for me.

More than enough space to make your plug-in play space manageable.Holes are a little tight, but that makes for a good time in my book.500% upped my game as a student in electromechanical engineering study.Would be cool if the Va(red)/Vb(yellow)/G(black) terminals had some kind of insulation pack on the backside in case you pick it up. That and the aforementioned V/V/G terms aren't pre-assembled which is annoying, but whatever.Good build quality regardless. If you want something better, build it yourself. 🤓

This is a great breadboard. After trying some of the cheaper brands, I'll always go for Jameco from now on. Some other breadboards brands don't always hold the wires tightly enough in the holes, and they'll end up popping out, or just not connecting, and your circuit won't work and you won't know why. You could even end up destroying components from shorts or by over-volting your MCU analog inputs if one side of a voltage divider comes loose. You won't have those problems with this breadboard, the holes grip the leads tightly and make good electrical contact.

These are the best breadboards made. The numbering and lettering match the holes perfectly and the soft yellow hue is easy on the eyes. The internal connectors hold tightly with excellent electrical conductivity. The breadboards are held to the metal plate with screws and adhesive. The rubber feet are pre-attached and the plate is thick enough to eliminate twisting. If you’re sick of crappy breadboards and want some that are good for 5000 plus insertions, then this is for you. The metal plate is well finished, the 3 connectors fit well and don’t protrude beyond the supplied rubber feet. I like this one so much I have bought the larger sized board as well.
