Especially for the internal cable routed bikes, the white teflon looking inner liner goes the whole distance to the brake/shifter and is completely sealed from start to finish. It even supplies a rubber stopper at the end that keeps dirt and moisture out. The Elite series is a must for mechanical bikes and the cable itself is polished and so much smoother than Shimano or Sram's best offering. A bit trickier to setup initially but so worth the extra effort once done!

If installed correctly it should last at least one season (unless you are always in the rain). The cables have no stretch to them so brakes are solid.

Really disappointed that kit is about 500mm too short for bikes with downtube brake cable runs.

Superb product! Well worth the expense; investment for sublime shifting and braking performance. Not to mention beautiful-looking housing links with thw array of colour choices etc.

Love this kit. Decided to replace my cables on an older gold brake kit and this one came with red, blue gold and silver as well as the black so I did some customization. Looks fantastic and works as good as any other cable kit. Comes with everything and truth be told other than cables I could do another bike brake set. Good stuff.
