On the plus side, I like the thick sole and the unusual shape which is not the same old same old. The styling ribs enhance the look and strategically reinforce the soft knit. The heel is generously padded, but too short to keep your heel planted. The more expensive models also have this problem but look more stodgy (old mannish, padded medical rehab looking stuff,). As another reviewer pointed out, these sneakers are not as wide as you would think looking at them. Also, they are at least 1/2 size smaller than marked (12.5 rather than 13), which may account for the loss of width. This seems to be chronic, as from other reviews, with all the wide toe box sneakers. The heels flop around a lot because they are not snug and are short, unless you use the second set of eyelets at the top of the sneaker. This, however, prevents you from slipping them on without undoing the laces, an annoying, as it turns out, inconvenience. The front to back shrink wrap packaging (no box) caused a deep dent deformity in the toe brace of the right shoe. I, sort of, fixed this. There is a small-ish amount of arch support (not nearly enough). The "zero drop" configuration is causing some initial back discomfort and a more awkward gait. TAKES QUITE A LOT OF GETTING USED TO. Once, AND IF, you get used to the quirks, they are fairly comfortable though tight to prevent the heel flop. Also, the tongue could be longer where the top laces cross over and could use a pull loop like the more expensive models. Since I wear a 13 I could not use the other, sort of jazzy, styles that don't have the short tongue and heel since they stop at 12.5 and are already undersized so I would not get away with this. Lastly these sneakers are clompers on concrete, though not enough to be a game changer. They need more roll off at the heel and toe. Other brands of wide toe box sneakers under $50.00 look a great deal more stodgy-geriatric, (Sneakerholics don't do stodgy). Though these other brands do not suffer the short heels, short tongues without pulls, or lack of larger sizes. Life is complicated. More later. This is the more later: I have since had an attack of my old friend planter's fasciitis. These sneakers are, surprisingly, somehow, helping ME with that. This is strictly anecdotal, may not help you, and is not a medical claim. I am still finding walking in these somewhat awkward and unnatural and they materially slow down my gait. Makes me feel sort of like I am walking around in short swim fins or duck feet (I used to do scuba) though I am getting more used to this over time. Shoes are supposed to be supportive, protective, boost your movement, and better than barefoot, or why else wear them? So emulating nature's mistakes may not be the best thing for your feet..... or it might? Go figure. If it walks like a duck....... We shall see.

These shoes are great for the price. I’ve been wearing g them daily since I bought them. Very comfortable. Love the wide toe box.

My husband is on his feet all day and his feet swell by the afternoon , he said these shoes were wide enough in the toe area to accommodate the swelling. He loved how the felt great the minute he put them on. Good fit , solid shoe, very light. Do not be fooled , they do not come in a box but wrapped in plastic and less waste.

The fit was good as ordered, however after 3 days of wear, they started to fall apart, the glue or whatever started letting loose and had gaps around the upper and bottom

They came quickly. They are comfortable, and a good fit. Very lightweight.
