I love this tray. I’m an acrylic artist/painter, and need a palette that’s a breeze to clean, durable, and easy to handle. This tray fits that bill. Using it for a palette works great because it has a big surface for mixing colors, has a wide lip to contain the paints, and makes it super easy to grab and move around. I love the finish that will stand up to the repeated washings for the rest of my life. Some reviewer’s stated that the finish has uneven striping around the top edge, well they are insignificant, add character, and do not hinder the usefulness of the finish.

I’ll just be using this as a paint pallet, so it’s not worth returning, but it came beat up and dented. It also has a sharp lip that feels a bit dangerous.

I've owned several butcher tray palettes - never have I seen defects like these. Enamel coating is bubbling up all around. One corner had such a sharp edge form poorly applied enamel, I cut my finger when removing the palette from the shipping box.
