The latitude 5285 I purchased did not have a battery so I ordered this battery and it works perfectly. Did not take long to install and it charged quickly as it already had 45% on the battery when it came in.

have to say, the laptop works like new and I'm glad all the parts/tools needed were included in the package, so i was able to fix the laptop during my lunch break at work.got me back to full factory battery life. runs like new.had i known it was this simple, id have done it quite a while ago.

Got this to replace an original dell battery that was only operating at 50% (damaged cells). I did not have the same issue as other customers did with needing the AC power cable to start the tablet. My order came with all the tools needed to perform the replacement. Once installed I was able to power the tablet without the AC cable, ran Dell Diagnostics before booting to Windows and everything checked out. Performed the battery cycling (letting it die and the charging to 100% as per the included instructions). The tablet lasts as long on battery power as it did when it was new.

I bought 2 of this items in May 2021 and installed 1 in June 2021 - the other 1 was intended as a reserve battery. The installed battery started to swell before reaching its 1st year of normal use so I had to replace the swollen battery with my reserve battery. Anepoch learned about this unfortunate incident and immediately reached out to me to apologize and offered to solve the problem by sending a new replacement battery. I readily accepted their apology and I was also willing to work with them to solve the issue. Now I have received the new replacement battery. Thanks Anepoch for the honesty and professionalism.

I installed the battery but it doesn’t work. It doesn’t charge. Whenever I unplug the power supply, the laptop shuts down!

I bought this thinking it was a replacement, its really not a full replacement since it requires the power cable to turn on, and then a bios error at boot. Would be perfect if it was able to boot without the cable. Yes sleep prevents this, but I like to fully shut down and not require a power cable to turn back on when working remote. and I cannot find the email to contact the company if this is by design or if its faultly
