Took ten minutes to tune (I'm used to an Ibanez 5-string GSR model), but it plays like a harp. I didn't expect the fanned frets, but it doesn't take long to get used to them, and chords sound great on this bass. It came set up, so very thankful for that.

Obviously it's not perfect, but the build quality is pretty decent for what it is. The finish is nice, the neck is pretty straight and feels good to play, and the saddles are solid....so far. I still have to plug her in and play, so I can't say how the pickups sound. I am stoked to have a unicorn 8 string bass 🤯🥰
