I ordered these shorts for use while working on fixing up hurricane damage to my house in southwest Florida -- so I needed them to be comfortable, durable, lightweight, and cool. They fit all my requirements. They have great pockets, which is definitely important for carrying around everything I need while doing repairs. I do wish they had pockets right on the rear also, but there are enough other pockets to make do.One of the other reviews mentioned not having enough room in the legs. That wasn't my experience at all. I ordered a size large, my usual size, and they fit true to size. There's enough room for my entire fist and then some between my leg and the fabric of the shorts at the bottom hem, which gives me great freedom of movement.They are exactly what you would want cargo shorts to be. They'd be great for hiking, as well as the utility type wear that I'm using them for. They aren't the most stylish look, but that's not what I need from cargo shorts!

Just like basketball shorts but super comfy. I like knee length shorts and this is exactly that. Very roomy and light. I’m 5’ tall, 36” waist, and 42” hips. Comes right below my knees. Material is thin but not sheer. Washed and dried well and did not pill. I wore it to sleep and although the short legs rolled up, that didn’t disturb my sleep.

Pros: stretchy and soft. Dries quick. Likely will be great for travel. Not wrinkly. Pockets areNice.Cons: These are pretty high waisted and long. Kinda rides up thighs with walking. Not the most flattering shape for women. thin fabric.

I got this pair of shorts for my daughter to wear. She said it fit around her waist but was tight around her thighs. She liked the pockets, but she would have preferred some on the back as well.

Overall, I like these shorts a lot. They’re a great addition to a summer wardrobe and look really cute with most tops. I wear a 2XL, and the fit was true to size. It does come with pockets, but I can’t imagine putting anything heavier than a wallet in them; the material is really thin and it would probably drag the waistband down. They’re very comfortable and provide a lot of freedom of movement. I wish the material were a little more sturdy, but they fit the bill if you’re looking for some light, summer shorts.

I am really pleased with these shorts! The material is a tech-type material that is quick drying and good for hiking or sports. The fit of the shorts are great! They are very comfortable, and they look great on (though my pictures do the shorts no justice). I happily wore these shorts all day generally running around adulting, but they are also great for hiking due to the roominess and stretchiness of the fabric that easily moves with you when you move. The shorts are a great length, as well. The side pockets are a neat design that keep whatever items you have in your pockets secure. The items stay in the pocket vs. falling out when you are moving. These shorts are a win! For a size comparison, I am a size 14, and the XL size fit perfectly!

If style is the main thing you're after, keep looking. But if you're into hiking or planning a serious trek look no further. These cargo shorts have an elastic waistband that makes them very comfortable and easy to wear, No belt is required. In terms of fit, they are a bit on the long baggy side but that means cooler to wear in a hot location and more protection for your legs. The pockets are great, nice and low, and easy to access. The fabric itself is all synthetic material so it is very fast drying and lighter weight compared to other natural materials. These would also be great to wear over leggings. If you're doing a serious trek these shorts might be a good candidate. Tough sturdy light weight fabric with good pockets. Wash them at night hang them dry by morning or soon after.

These are made of a really nice stretchy and thin material that feels cool and lightweight. They have two slit pockets and two cargo pockets with velcro. They are okay, but the back side design is lacking so it looks a little unflattering from behind. These will probably be fine for around the house or the beach, or worn with a tunic, but probably won’t be my favorite pair. They will hold many things in the pockets which I like and I do like the material.
