I took delivery of this cooler a few days ago. Initial pros and cons:PROS:- v easy to unpack and install ***make sure you let the unit stand for 3 hours before plugging in!- very nice design and good build quality. The mirrored glass door and lock are nice touches- stores a lot of wine (18 bottles) in a small space- wine racks comfortably hold 750ml bottles and are easily adjustable- noise when compressor and fan are on is pleasingly very low - much better than the thermoelectric cooler I had prior- unit cools very quickly - from initial plug in to 55 degrees was around 10 mins- holds set temperature very wellCONS- the temperature on my unit is set at 55 degrees but using a laser thermometer, the bottles at the bottom are coming in around 59 degrees and the bottles at the top are around 64 degrees. Not a huge problem as I dropped the unit temp to 52 degrees which keeps the wine in a better temperature window- the circulation fan at the top comes on when the compressor comes on but doesn't seem to do much good, given the large variance in temperature between top and bottomAll in all a very good cooler - temperature is a little off (accuracy) but holds whatever temperature it's set at very well which is great for wine storage.

Overall I'm very happy with this product. It's not as quiet as the description says, but not objectionable. The compressor compartment at the rear is open so nothing to block the sound. The handle doesn't fit tightly with the provided screws. The instructions say to use washes but they were missing from the bag. Five stars if not for these minor issues.

I've owned this wine chiller for 2 years now and have nothing but good things to say about it.It is quiet, has been reliable, and functions very well. The only comment I have is that the temperature of the wine will likely be a few degrees warmer than what you have set on the controls. I keep red wines in this chiller set at 60° and the actual wine is more like 65° on the top shelves and 63° on the bottom shelves. Not really a complaint, just something to be aware of. I think this is typical of ALL wine chillers that use a compressor instead of an actual refrigeration unit.

Love my wine fridge! Keeps wine at a perfect temperature. Fits wine coolers near and bottle water. Looks amazing. Perfect size. Placed on a stand to sit a little higher but is perfect for floor or counter as well.

Really sleek product and well made. I appreciated the instructions and warranty information package provided with the product. Has a nice light feature for the wine that can be turned on or off.The temperature feature is a nice colour. Sometimes I find they're in a very blue colour and it makes a product look cheap, this does not.The temperature sometimes fluctuates up from what we set it to but it's self regulating which is amazing. Wine has been kept in great storage and it is a nice subtle unit even in our small space. Highlight recommend for those looking for some elevated wine but need something to fit an apartment/condo/small home.It has a bit of noise when it's regulating (I think that's what it's doing) but it doesn't last long and has a mind him that's a touch quieter than our fridge. Not bad at all.

I was researching a lot of different cookers between single and dual zone, but since I mainly drink red wine, I went with the single zone. This works perfectly, looks sleek, and fits perfectly in the corner of the dining room. Has a lock (as we have a baby boy), and an optional internal light. Would recommend for the price point.

April 22, 2023 I purchased the Ivation 18 bottle wine fridge. I received it April 29, 2023. I allowed the refrigerator to set up right for over 3 hours as instructed before plugging it in. Once I plugged it in, it was louder than my house refrigerator, I mean I could hear the little thing in the other room, and it got louder and the control panel never lit up even with me pressing the unlock button for 2 seconds and more. I tried to get it to work several times but it just got louder, and actually the sides of it started to get pretty warm, it did cool on the inside. This is unacceptable it didn’t work and it was extremely loud. The more reviews I read, the loudness seem to be one of the biggest issues, I am well aware it is a compressor, but it’s a very small compressor. Is the loudness possibly the beginning of malfunctions?

After a million reviews on Amazon, almost every Wine Chiller is crap. Luckily on Youtube I stumbled across a girl who was reviewing it. She gave it great reviews and now, 3 months later I can say I love it.1. Came in a sturdy box, perfect condition.2. Easy setup, plug it in, set your temperature and insert bottles. It takes overnight to chill a full rack of 18 bottles.3. I love the backlight, it looks great.4. Quiet. Mind you it does have a compressor and even when the house is dead quiet you barely here it. I don't even notice it anymore. On a scale of 1 to 10 on noise , this is a 1.5 so very quiet all things considered.3 months later I am very happy with this unit.I highly recommend this !!!

I was looking for a compact wine fridge to install within my island! I didn't need anything crazy and this made the island amazing. We drink wine occasionally and I like my reds to be set around 14deg. Which is the temp that is set and what I'm getting. The temp light is a bit bright for my liking, and the inside light could be better. But it's a wine cooler after a bottle don't see the difference! I would recommend this fridge to wine lovers! It keeps your house fridge empty and your shelves as well! You won't regret it!

Bottom line: Looks good, reasonably quiet and doesn't take up too much space. We got this wine refrigerator a few months ago for two reasons. We like our red wine cold and we wanted to free up space in our fridge. When we buy a case of wine, we just put the entire case into this wine refrigerator. Then if we've forgotten to put a bottle in the fridge, we always have a cold bottle ready to go.The only space we really had for this wine refrigerator was in our breakfast area. We sit there every morning, talk and have coffee. It does make some noise when running but it isn't an annoying sound and it doesn't disrupt our conversations. It's no more than 3-4' (approx. 1 meter) from where we are sitting. It's footprint is about 18" deep x 13.5 wide" (14.7cm x 34.3cm).It quickly cools the wine down (we have it set to the minimum temperature 41 degrees). I have noticed that it creeps up to 45 degrees on the display before the compressor turns on. It's probably a good thing though - better that it's on long enough to cool the wine down but not turning off and on constantly all day trying to keep the temperature precisely at 41 degrees. So far, very pleased. Will update the review if we have any reliability issues.

I bought this cooler in June and have been using it only two months, and I am very satisfied with it. It came in perfect condition to me, so I have to think that the "banged up chassis" that people are finding are due to some really rough handling by delivery drivers. The packaging was more than sufficient to protect the fridge on the way in.It holds 18 bottles just fine. I keep it chilled to 45 as I like my wine well chilled, and it stays at a constant temperature. As for noise, a compressor is going to make some noise, but it is really minimal for a refrigerator and I barely hear it.The only thing I found surprising is I needed to defrost it this week, the back of the wine fridge was full of ice. I put it outside and let it defrost overnight. I did a little research and found this is an issue with wine fridges, that every four months or less they need to be defrosted. Also, it's been very hot and humid recently here (lots of 100F+ degree days), so I'm not surprised. Other than that little surprise, I love our wine fridge, it works great, is pretty quiet, and does exactly what I wanted.
