This doesn't come with instructions besides some unclear pictures. The pieces don't fit together well and I was having to guess which one goes where and then just forcing it. I actually left one entire piece out!!! I don't have any idea where it was supposed to go. This isnt adjustable imo. I guess bc I couldn't get it together but to break this down, you'd have to take it all apart if you're like me.

This is a very well made durable stainless steel telescoping stand. The five sections of pipe are thick walled, and the tripod base will fold. With a working height of 46 to 85 inches this pole is good for IV bags or many other uses! I am currently using this stand to hang high intensity lights from.

This IV pole is very stable once you lock in all the adjustment knobs and has a terrific height. The base is sufficiently wide to handle the weight of the IV bag(s), so it is very resistant to falling over. That stability is important. The IV bag holders are superior to others because they are looped in a manner to retain the bag securely. Some others have simpler hooks without as full a loop, which means they do not secure the IV bags as well.Assembly was quite simple and straightforward, once familiar with it the assembly and disassembly can be done in less than one minute.Tightening the two thumbscrews on the central buckle height adjustment is a mite tricky. You need to adjust that carefully for the buckle to snap shut easily yet firmly enough to hold the weight of the IV bags. If you are pushing that buckle latch with all your strength it is way too tight. I suspect making that too tight might also damage that mechanism, thus why I said it is a little tricky. The parts stow nicely into the original box for storage on a shelf. If it seems you cannot get them in there, you are not orienting the parts correctly. It arrived in that carton so it can be stowed away in it, too. While it is definitely not as heavy and robust as IV bag holders often seen in hospitals, it is sufficiently stable and can handle four IV Bags at a time. For occasional use this is more than adequate, and the price is pretty reasonable for what it does.

I am an RN and work with the more industrial ones daily so maybe that is why installation was effortless, but I don't see why some reviewers had issues with the assembly. Mine had instructions but even without it was simple. The legs are sturdy and I purposely choose these for home use over rollers as those tend to create issues with lots of clutter, this just sets up and is stable. It is easy to adjust height and holds position and weight well, cannot ask for more for home use.

This is a very convenient pole for multiple uses. As the intended use it's functions extremely well, my only complaint is that it doesn't have any wheels so you can't easily move it around. it's sturdy and the adjustable height is really nice. It is a very basic and industrial looking pole but works well for it's intended use.
