This portfolio had slightly "roomier" sleeves to hold 8" x 10" water color paper than the other portfolios I had previously been using. That made the growing depth of pages lie flatter and not bulge. I haven't filled it yet to the 48 page max so am not sure how the final capacity will lie. But so far, I'm quite pleased with it.

The hard cover is a real plus and offers extra protection for the inner pages. This is the best brand I have found, so I stick with it.

This is AMAZING!!I bought this to put all of my kids school pictures in through the years. Each page is an 8x10. I have one for each child and each year add their new photo to the pages along with their class photo if there is one. Every time I go through this book I can't believe how much they have grown over the years. This book is just for their 8x10 the rest of their photos stay in the paper sleeves. If you are looking for a way to keep a book of all their school photos through the years this is great.Pros:- Nice binder - you could customize with vinyl, or decorative handwriting.- Easy to put your photos into the pages or take out if you need to move them around.- Each page has a black piece of paper in it so if you don't have an 8x10 you can't see the photo on the other side.Cons:- If you don't have it labeled which side is up you could get it easily confused. I have marked all of mine on the cover to know which way it goes.I LOVE this though and can't wait to keep adding photos to their yearly books.

Needed something to put my 8x10s in and it does the job. The page only fits the picture (no header or footer) so if you want to add sticker labels, it will have to be over-top of the picture. Good quality. 5 stars, would recommend. Will probably order another once it fills up.

I got this portfolio for school. I needed a portfolio to submit at the end of the semester for a grade and to transport my work to and from school every week safely. I am working exclusively with 11"x14" paper and it fits perfectly with room to spare. The width of the portfolio sleeve is exact, but the length is very generous and there is at least 3/4" of room at the top of the sleeves. It was easy to slide my work into the sleeves and there is a piece of black paper separating the front and back of the sleeve so you can use both sides to display your work. The cover is bendable but very sturdy and is trimmed around the edges in a thick nylon material that looks nice and would prevent the edges bending. The overall profile is very slim so it wouldn't take up much storage space. Manufacturer's stickers are a huge pet peeve of mine and I absolutely hate when they come off in multiple pieces or leave a sticky residue. Thankfully, this sticker comes off easily in one piece and leaves no residue behind. I also like get archival quality for such a low price!Overall, for the money this is high quality portfolio to store your finished pieces. I will be ordering again if the need arises.

I use the 11x14 inch portfolio book, and in fact have four of them in my photo library. I prefer to have a hard copy in this large photo size of the quality photographs I want to keep for visual display wherever I go. This book comes in various sizes, but for me the 11x14 gives the viewer a large photograph to view, but not one so large as to be unwieldy. It comes with 48 acid free clear sheets to drop photos into, each sheet holding up to two photographs. The seating is tight enough to keep any moisture from reaching my photos and are clear enough that I don't have to withdraw a photo for someone to see it clearly enough. The covers to these books are practically indestructible, which is nice because they will protect your photos if something heavy is laid upon the covers. I don't do scrap books, but do take thousands of photographs when I vacation. When I find a few that really please me, I don't want to spend hours sifting through image files trying to find the ones I want to display, I can just grab one of my portfolios and hit the road. In the world of digital imaging, where the computer gremlins sometimes get hungry, it is nice to resort to old-fashioned hard copies for safety and viewing.

Honestly, I would never use this case to display a professional portfolio to a review board or a critic. That said, this portfolio is still a quality product that is very useful for protecting and displaying images at a reasonable price.I bought this portfolio for a class final in which we were asked to put together a collection of 25 photographs that we had made throughout the semester. The professor told us that we would not be graded on the portfolio itself, but on the quality of the images. Being a poor student, I was able to pick this up for less than $20, which was ideal. The cover of the portfolio is durable matte black plastic, which is perfectly nice, but also looks somewhat cheap. Again, not appropriate for a professional review. The sheets themselves are durable, but they do have a slight texture to them, which somewhat obstructs the finer quality of the photograph being displayed. During my critique, each image had to be pulled out of the sleeve individually in order to be properly judged. This was perfectly acceptable in an academic setting, though.I've kept those same prints in this portfolio since that class ended since this serves as a great protector and organizer for them. I can see this being more useful for people making presentations consisting mainly of printed text.
