Got tired of my compression stockings always sliding down all day long, and this glue keeps them up all day into the night until I take them off myself. Great stuff and I will buy more when I need it.

This is a complete rewrite of my review after over eight months of use.As my physical therapist showed me how to don my knee-high compression stockings, he provided me with this item to help prevent slippage. I immediately ordered another one from Amazon. I am now about 75% through that one I ordered from Amazon. Here is what I have learned.1. When you receive your purchase, check to see that the safety seal is intact. See the attached picture.2. When you remove the cap for its first use, ensure the roller ball moves freely.3. The first two ounces lasted about six months. I have used the current purchase for three and a half months, and there is still much left to use.4. The compression stockings I use are only available as toeless. The bands at the toes and near the knee are to prevent slippage. The bands at the toes slip back to the ball of my feet, making walking very uncomfortable. I roll back the band and use the applicator to apply the adhesive on the bottom of my foot forward of the ball of the foot and on top of my foot just behind my toes. I pull the band to where it is just above my little toe. I press the compression stocking just below the band to ensure it is in complete contact with my foot and adhesive. If the band is on my little toe or just below it, it rugs on my shoes, and my little toes hurt.5. The band near the knee does not move as much, but it does move a little. Again, I roll the band down and apply the adhesive where the band is just below the knee. I found that I do not need to use any on the calf. Anchoring the front of the compression stocking keeps the back from slipping.6. If some adhesive gets onto your hands, water quickly washes it off. The adhesive quickly washes out when washing the compression stockings.7. I have noticed that the adhesive builds up in the cap. Make sure that you place the cap back on tightly. Warm water from the facet directed into the cap will clean it out. Just make sure that you dry the cap thoroughly before placing it back on. I try to keep the applicator upside down to minimize the adhesive accumulation in the threaded section of the cap. Unfortunately, I take it to physical therapy three times a week, so I am unsure whether this works.8. In reviewing some reviews, I read one by a parent who stopped using it on his child because a rash developed. I fully understand his decision and believe it was appropriate. I, too, developed a mild rash on my shin. After a few weeks, the rash had disappeared. This was not an issue for me, but it is something to watch out for.After more than eleven months of daily use, I am thoroughly satisfied with this product, highly recommend it, and rate it with five stars.

I've always had a problem with my compression stockings sliding down my leg. I'd have to yank them back up, only to walk a few feet and have a reoccurrence of the problem. Such a bother! My physical therapist told me about a lotion that would keep them up. I checked every drug store and medical supply store in my area and couldn't find it. Finally I decided to check Amazon and found the roll-on. It works like a charm! It's easy to apply, comfortable, fast-drying, and holds securely. It does have an odor when first applying, but it quickly disappears. The stockings peel off easily and there is no pulling, sticking, or pain involved. Great product!

I was having problems with my knee and a compression garment was recommended. It work but it constantly rolled up at the edges and when it did that it was both ineffective and uncomfortable. This stuff completely fixed the problem. It was comfortable to use. Once the glue was dry if I pull off the garment, my skin was not sticky, which meant that after work when I change my clothes and took the garment off there was not need to wash immediately. In fact it looked to me as though most of the glue had all stuck to the garment, this made me wash the garment before I would wear it again. I not sure that was necessary. It is a great product!
