First coat be careful you do not over brush, let dry and apply a second coat for even finish. I then spray varnished my paintings. Happy with coverage.

Provides a barrier between your art work and a varnish that needs to be removed. Goes on easily with a brush and levels off quickly. So far I have been pleased with the results.

This stuff worked, but be careful on your first layer. This was my first time using a sealer and I watched videos and I read the directions 3 times. I felt ready, grabbed a large brush and jumped right in only to be horrified that my first two strokes were smearing my colors. The painting had been sitting over a week so my acrylic was definitely set. I panicked and then a friend and I decided to grab smaller brushes and go over colors individually. It took some extra time but when I went back to do a second coat, I was able to use my big brush and all of the colors had sealed and didn't smear through the rest of the process. I don't know if I did something wrong, or if my paints were bad, but this stuff definitely sealed, I just had to be careful putting down the first layer.

Such a good product. I painted a mural, not really intending to put in so much detail and spend so much time on it, but alas, that’s how it often goes.Because I meant for it to be quick and easy, I didn’t sand the wall much, and as a result, it’s still very bumpy.The product bubbles very easily on that sort of surface, so paint on your layers thin, and as gently as possible to try to minimize that. The bubbly appearance disappeared when it dried. I ended up doing 2 layers. The width was about 8 by 4 feet, and I used up most of the bottle, to give you an indication of how much you’ll need.

Looks great. I initially bought this product to make epoxying easier, appear smoother, and reduce headaches of putting epoxy onto canvas.I found that it does exactly that, it goes on easy only one or two coats as needed, and it looks great. What was really interesting is how good the pictures looked with just this product on it. I’ve used epoxy and gloss to shine up my paintings but I really like how this product gives a shine on its own. It’s not reflective it’s more just gives a wet look. give it a try
