The first day I was very impressed. The lights were bright, beautiful and easy to install. Night two, 3 out of 4 of the lamps do not turn on. The one that still lights up, is very dim. I'm going to wait and see if there is a change tomorrow. It was a heavy cloud coverage day with massive down pours. I'm wondering if they just didn't get enough light due to that. I will update tomorrow evening to see if they turn on or not. Otherwise I'll be returning them. Pretty expensive for plastic to work for one night if that is the case.

I purchased two 4-packs to replace some 8-year old similar lights. These are much brighter than the old style and while I like the “Flickering Flames”, it’s nice that they have 2 other options now: Fading from on to off or constant on. That changes how I use them, some random scattered lights are flames while those along my front pathway remain on for people walking by.Also, 1 of the 8 lamps didn’t work at all. I emailed the company and literally within TWO DAYS (really 36 hours) I had a replacement bulb with all accessories delivered to my house! No need to return the defective bulb either. That is really great customer service!The modular system snaps together but feels very secure, there will not be any bending or twisting of the pole. And the little ABS plastic base that is used to mount with screws is very slightly flexible—that was helpful since I screwed several into the sides of round trees, where a perfectly flat mount would have been more awkward to screw into a round object. That said, they ARE flat so no worries if using them on flat surfaces, the “give” in the plastic is just the right amount.This isn’t a comment about these lights per se but I did try a tip that I read about online. Before I mounted these and while they were still fresh out of the box I sprayed some Rustoleum Clear Coat over the solar panels which apparently will help them from becoming dusty or yellowing with age as many solar panels tend to do. I will update if any obvious positive or negative changes happen by doing that.

The on/off switch on one of my tiki lamps on my deck broke. I didn't want to replace the whole set, so I went looking for single lamp options. The brand that I had was "no longer available," so I had to find another similar one. Most of the others were smaller than my current ones and would have looked out of place. This is the only company that I found that sold singles that were just like the rest of my set. Can't tell the difference on my deck. Works and looks great!

These are good lights, but a little pricey for what they are. They are made from cheap plastic and the look of them suffers for it. Not realistic at all. Almost cartoonish like they are out of The Flintstones. Other than that, they do work well and stay lit all night. They don't give off much of a glow to see by. These are more of a night light to give you a general idea of what's going on. Essdy to assemble with multiple assembly options. They seem to charge quickly. They should last a few seasons.

These are the very large ones I was looking for to replace my others that wore out after a couple years. My original ones have special hangers to hang at a 45 degree angle like mid evil castles. I wish these came with those because my old ones are cracking.

We have about 18 of the short tiki lights to line our campground when camping…we got 2 tall ones for the door way into our popup camper….we light up and get LOTS of compliments on the lights!!!I’d recommend these.
