Purchased for a specific project: drill out a 3/8" ramrod hole in the walnut stock of a muzzleloader I'm building. I jury-rigged a jig to hold everything steady, then slowly and carefully drilled. If this bit had been even slightly bent or the angle off by even half a degree, I would have ruined my nice piece of walnut.It came out perfect -- I'm quite happy with the purchase.

It is designed to drill holes and allow you to pull a wire back through the holes. sort of a cross between a drill bit and a wiring snake. I just used it as a very long drill bit. It seemed to be working well so far.

This would have been the perfect product if the manufacturer had reduced the diameter of the shaft after a couple of inched past cutting edge. It was difficult to force the bit through my window opening down through floor plate because of friction. It was a bear getting the shaft out after drill reached the intended target. It worked perfectly but took a lot of extra energy to so the job

Used to kill tree stump and it did the job ok, but I switched to a larger 1 inch drill. It still worked well and is a great product

I used this to drill into the basement to run wiring up to s couple of electrical outlets. I used this as the "pilot" and used a bigger bit for the wire to fit through. It worked great for what I needed

Our home has a very deep styrofoam facade around the too. This long shank drill bit is perfect for running wires. It supports the weight of the drill as well when you need to check the other side.

Drills well , it can be sharpened with a small triangle file. No hole in flute only the shank.

When I got drill bit out of the plastic box it came in I put it in my hand held drill and turned it on, the bit was bent and couldn’t hardly hang onto the drill it wobbled so bad. I took it out of drill and tried to get the bow out of it and did get a lot of it out but wasn’t good still. I tried to drill with it but decided to send it back since it still wobbled but not as bad as it first tried. The plastic made me wonder if had been returned before. The 24 inch one I got locally had instructions with tape that I had to cut to get bit out but this one didn’t have that. I’m not sure About that but I do know it had a bend in it.
