Engineered with a pressed carbide tip with aggressive cutting angles, these durable bits drill fast. They have a one-piece construction that withstands higher torque loads than standard quick-change bits that are built with a two-piece design. These bits have a black oxide finish that resists corrosion and increases the life of the bit, and a 1/4" quick-change shank that's designed to work with impact drivers, as well as reduce slipping in standard drill chucks.

Purchased this drill bit to mount furring strips to a concrete block wall with cement screws and was very impressed with the quick cutting action and how well it cleared the cut material away. Highly recommend this product for its ease of use.

I just finished mounting custom picture rails to over 200 linear feet of plaster over 130-year-old adobe (mud brick, including pebbles). It *ate* half a dozen ordinary masonry bits in the first room alone. Three of these (in rotation) finished the rest of the house with only one sharpening before finishing and blew through embedded obstacles that destroyed two other bits that I only used to widen particularly bad holes.Yes, it only drills three inches deep -- the other inch is shank. Just like any other drill, the specified length is the total and not just the twist section.

I'm a cable contractor and use this bad boy daily. Ordered idk how many of them but if you have a driver, pick one up. Hate using a heavy 20v for anchors.
