Die was only used to thread 4 rods, but did a great job.

I removed around (40) 1 1/2" ø bolts of 8 inches length from my deck that I was fixing up. All of them needed to have the threads to be rethreaded. This die did the the job and still looks new. I would buy again if I ever need to.

Worked great to cut threads on steel axle rods so I can have wheels on my generator. Used a 1" socket and ratchet so I did not need to buy a new wrench. I think that worked better than using a die stock wrench. Works as well as any die I have used in a machine shop, is one of the least expensive choices, and it's made in USA. I could not ask for more.

Couldn't find it in the big box stores, worked fine to clean up threads to reuse 1/2 inch screws. Made of a better grade steel than Vermont's
