It comes with a larger strike face with demolition and breaking through drywall in mind and has a 2x4 (or 2x6) gripper for grabbing, straightening or bending boards. It’s also equipped with added features like a side nail puller, magnetic nail starter, and textured finger rest on the grip for added stability and control when doing more precise work.

I use this for framing and my coworkers are jealous of the board twister built in, often asking to borrow it. good hammer, good weight, could be stiffer metal but for this price I'm not complaining
Great product

The weight distribution and the design to remove 2x4s with the back of the hammer make demolition an easier job.

This is the ideal hammer for me. The 2x option works great at straighting out warped 2x's.

A well made/solid hammer that is versatile. May end up purchasing a couple more in the future to give to my children for their tool boxes.

A little heavier than I usually buy but that makes it easier to drive in anything of a decent size. Quite a long hammer overall so combined with the weight there is a lot of forct generated to each drive. The claw is more of what I would call a ripping claw, so good for wedging between timers to prise apart. also good for pulling nails close to a wall or stud as the hammer handle is fairly vertical at the point of positioning the claw under the nail head.

De la mejor calidad, especial para el uso rudo en la construcción, si lo volvería a comprar

I'm in the middle of an extensive renovation project and got tired of struggling with the hand-me-down hammer I'd been using, so I opted for this Irwin hammer since it seemed like it would be good both for demolition and framing. It definitely checks both boxes. The 2x4 notch on the back makes short work of tearing out old framing as well as levering new studs into place. The weight and balance makes it very easy to drive even large framing nails into place, and the handle is grippy and comfortable. You can definitely spend more on a hammer, but this one gets the job done will at a good price. I've put it through its paces and it's held up well so far - I have no doubt this hammer will have a place on my tool belt for many years.
