Due to a patent dispute with Profoto, Godox wasn't able to include a metal ring for mounting magnetic accessories on the V100 flash in the US, instead shipping it with a red plastic ring. This is, quite simply, the metal ring that they couldn't include with the flash. The package includes the ring, a mini screwdriver, and a set of four screws. You don't even need the screws, you can use the ones that came with the flash. The ring fits perfectly, and all magnetic accessories work perfectly with it installed. Consider it mandatory if you plan on using any magnetic accessories with the US version of the V100.
