This product is great for the price. Yes they are not strong enough to be filled with heavy objects. If that’s what I needed them for I would expect to pay twice as much. These are the perfect solution for me and I’ve purchased them twice. I have an issue where if something is out of sight it is out of mind. I use these containers for all my organization - every closet, under the sink, on shelves. Everything is in sight and easy to find. I recommend these for storing light items.

El tamaño de la caja está muy práctico, apílenle. El plástico no está muy grueso, pero en función del precio está bien. Lo uso para guardar lencería

I'm giving these a 5 star rating which is actually a 5 star rating with the caveat that you need to realize that you get what you pay for - - - these are fantastic if you only store light weight items in them, don't need a tight fitting lid, and don't need to move or carry them around from room to room. They are great for storage but I definitely would not recommend for toys or supplies that kids would be reaching for daily. If I had my kids' Lego's or art markers in them and my kids were pulling these bins off the shelf daily, the Lego's and markers would probably spend more time scattered on the floor than they would contained in the bins. These bins and lids are just not secure or sturdy enough to contend with anything other than careful handling. After a major renovation of our kitchen, pantry and laundry room, I was on a major re-organizing binge.I ordered 2 sets of these bins, and also ordered two sets of the identical, but tad larger 7qt (13.75" long) bins (also by IRIS).The 6qt & 7qt are almost the same size (the 7qt are just about an inch longer) and they stack on each other well.I needed both sizes because not all of my cabinets are 14" deep. The 7qt bins are 13.75" long and for 14" cabinets, they are perfect. If you have the cabinet depth, the 7qt makes more efficient use of every inch.Think about what you need these for, realize these are lightweight storage before ordering and you will be happy with them. These are very thin and flexible and though the lids do sort of click on, as soon as you pick up or handle the bin, the Iid pops right off. Also note that the bottoms are not completely flat. There is a slight ridge (no more than 1/8") that runs about an inch in around the perimeter and crosswise in the middle of the bin.I assume this is there to help to reinforce stability and strength. In most situations this doesn't matter at all. The only time it matters is if you're standing small diameter things in the bin because unless the bin is packed full, those will topple over.I'd thought of using this in my pantry to stand condiment bottles in, but the uneven bottoms don't allow smaller bottles to stand up straight.I was previously using empty salad mix clamshell bins for storage and would double them up to give them more strength. One of these IRIS bins has about the same rigidity of a doubled clamshell bin.I'm using these in my pantry and laundry room to hold things like tea bags, coffee filters, sponges, plastic utensils, napkins, band aids/gauze squares. They're absolutely great for these kinds of light items. I can reach for a bin with one hand, pull it out and not need to support the weight of it with my other hand.If heavier items were stored in these bins, you'd need to definitely use two hands rather than just grasp a side or end. They fact that they're thin also makes them great for using as organizers in deeper drawers because they abut each other efficiently side by side without handles or thick rims taking up space. I'm using them without lids to corral Rubbermaid food storage lids, immersion blender and mixer/food processor attachments. I'm ordering another set of the 7qt to use in my dresser drawers for socks, sports bras, undergarments etc.In my experience so far, every order I've received came with cracked bins and/or lids. Outer shipping boxes were fine, but it seems that shipping damage is to be expected because they just aren't packed very well. The items are nicely nested in the packing box however there is no padding or protection around or between them. They are packed in 2 stacks side by side and all the cracks were on the inside corners where the two stacks butted up against each other. A simple sheet of foam between the two stacks may have prevented this damage.Of course Amazon was amazing in letting me return the one set, but that also meant I needed to order a replacement. For some reason, I was only given the option to return . . . not return and replace. I had to place a new order and (dang it) the price had gone up from my original Black Friday sale price.Overall, very happy with these. Know what to expect and you will be too.

These clear containers got the job done for organizing shoe storage, though heals and/or booties require one container per shoe. The lockability is not great so retrieve them from the shelf carefully, not a big deal, and they do stack nicely. They are waterproof if a leak were to come from directly above them but again, the lids do not provide a tight seal. The plastic is thin, flexible, not exactly sturdy and I would definitely not use these for anything heavy. I would definitely recommend them (for the price) for the purpose I purchased them for.

I keep way too much stuff. I keep it for crafting, creating, building, electronics, wiring, 3d printing, whatever. I decided that clear bins were the best way to go, because "out of sight, out of mind". I then decided I needed bins that are just big enough to store all of X, but not too big...whatever X is. I figured "about a shoebox" would be the perfect size. I also wanted these to be cheaper and lightweight, but not TOO cheap, because I didn't want to use them sparingly. I wanted 1 box per thing, with the cord, and manual, and spare parts, etc. These bins were near perfect. Yes...3 of the lids were cracked when I took them out of the box, but the bins and lids are what I wanted/needed. They aren't super thick, so they can technically get damaged, but they aren't paper thin. They're that middle ground where you'd never try to stand on them, but you can stack them 7-8 high, full of stuff, and not worry about the lids/sides bending.I bought a ton of the bins and just decided to sort everything. All crayons in here. All colored pencils in here. All nail clippers/files/nailcare items in here. All X in here...rinse and repeat. I found that the quality of the bins, and size of the bins, and nature of the clear bins, was perfect. I have a stack of 20 in my office closet for all the stuff that I'd want near the office, but infrequently used. I took the rest of the stuff to the basement to be stacked on shelves. Exactly what I wanted. I was able to empty my drawers, toss superfluous items, and actually reach a level of organization I've never had before. Mind you, I'm not ready to be an IG influencer or anything, but I'm about 5% of the way there, so get ready for me!Seriously though, you always take a chance when buying stuff on the Internet and you wonder if you're getting a good deal, or if you're buying crap. These bins are cheap, but they aren't crap. They are good, and despite being asked to hold a lot of crap (even being stuffed with a ton of batteries), they aren't bowing or breaking, even when stacked. So maybe I shouldn't call them cheap...but just inexpensive. You can probably get higher quality bins, but you're also going to pay for that. I needed a butt ton of bins and crossed my fingers. I got the number and quality I wanted, for a great price, so it was the middle ground I wanted.
