Works really well. Our dog is a tall standard poodle and it is a good height. Have to be careful not to get water inside when you go for the storage area, but it seems to keep the food stored well.

I use this to store my German shepherd's food. The bin easily holds a 40-lb bag of kibble, and the bowls are set at a good height for her. It's the most attractive dog food storage option I've found. It cleans easily and keeps her food supplies all in one convenient place. Recommended.

I’m really impressed with this dog food storage container! It’s the perfect size for storing a large bag of kibble and keeps everything fresh. The airtight seal ensures that the food stays dry and free from pests, which is a huge plus. The handle makes it simple to open and close. It’s also really sturdy and looks great in my kitchen. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and practical storage solution for their pet’s food.

Very well put together, solid material. Will last many years I’m sure! Only wish it came with something other than steel bowls.

We have a large dog and a smaller house, this product takes care of food storage, and is a raised food station at a perfect height for our large guy! This product is brilliant and difficult to find in the large size anywhere!!

This is a perfect fit for my dog, his food, and my house! We have a rough collie and were concerned about him not having raised dishes as his breed is prone to flipping their stomachs. We also have a small house (lots of yard of course!), so having a large bag of food floating around isn't ideal. This took care of both problems. His food is neatly packed away, and his dishes are raised up for him. I included a picture to show that it holds his large bag of dog food and a picture to show his comfort level. He's only 9 months old (that's why his coat doesn't look like Lassie's yet), so this will be perfect for him into adulthood. I could also see this as a great idea if you need to travel with your dog for camping or to a cottage, even to visit family (which we do often). It's really like a tote with dishes on top and has locking handles for the lid. The dishes are a great size for a large dog as well.

Food storage and raised bowls all in one. This one's a winner! We've had IRIS products for dog food storage for a long time and always been happy with them. But now that my 2 labs are getting older and arthritic, bending over to food bowls on the floor has become a real challenge. I felt like so many raising platforms were ugly. Even ones that were trying to be decorative...still ugly. And what a lot of space they take up! Enter this product. Get your food off the ground, but take up less space, by storing in in the same place! Now for the nitty-gritty on the Large version:The bowls - Stainless Steel. Decent size (big enough for the food I feed my labs every day.) Pretty standard, which is perfect. Easy to clean. Lightweight, but they fit into their little slots in the lid perfectly. There is a little notch for our human hands to easily lift them out for cleaning, but my dog who tries and tries and tries to get a hold of them and lift them out has been unsuccessful in her endeavors. :)The Storage - The food we buy comes in 33 lb bags. It fits perfectly. I am 95% sure there is room for an extra 7 pounds of food, if you were to buy a 40 lb bag. It would be a tight fit...but I think it would make it. The base sits solid on the ground and the top has a definite but easy to find fit as well. The snap over closures on the side are really easy to open and close - dog has not figured it out - 7 year old daughter mastered it immediately. It is easy to remove the top, place to the side, or on the top of the bin itself, scoop food into the bowls and replace the top. It is our daughter's job to feed the dogs and she has no problems whatsoever with this storage container. We are about to be traveling in our RV, and I am excited that I don't need something different for food storage, bowls, etc. This thing is all set. All in all, this was a great purchase at a fair price that I would recommend to anyone.. Thanks IRIS and thanks Amazon!

Had this feeder for a couple days now. I did not give it 5 stars only because of the length of time in which it has been present in my house.Anyway I read some of the reviews for this. Yes it can be a pain being a feeder and a storage for food. But its actually really not that bad and with some simple maneuvering you can get used to it in a jiffy.I have had feeders before. Water is going to pool at the bottom of the hole for the bowl. That's just what happens, especially if you have a sloppy dog. Its about being responsible and cleaning up after your pet. If you take the water bowl out of the top first and then move it, it wont spill. Or you could even just not put so much water in the water bowl. These simple yet effective ideas work, I promise. It looks very practical and will probably fit with most home decor since its black. The height is good. I have a 5 month old puppy which will eventually be large breed being a Mastiff/pitt. He is a little small for it but I have confidence that when he grows it will be a great height for him. If you have an extra large breed you may want to go with something adjustable or something a little taller. The fact that it is also a storage unit is great. I don't have to hide the food under the sink or worry about moving a big bag closer to the bowl and then moving it back. The lid is pretty tight and firm on the top with the locking mechanism. I know my dog cannot get into it and the food also provides weight to the unit so it is not easily tipped over. If you put it up against a wall it will be like a rock as long as it is filled. Its a good practical unit for the price. I would recommend it if you are looking for something simple.
