It's a nice sturdy unit but you better be good at puzzles in order to figure out how to fold it together!

This product is completely made up of cardboard. There’s nothing wrong with that, but the instructions are very confusing. Compounded with the cardboard construction, there was a very real fear that it would all fall apart before I even got it together. After much back and forth, I managed to construct the exterior of the organizer but could not for the life of me figure out the interior part. In stepped my engineer husband, and thankfully he was able to get it put together! When I asked him how he managed, he mentioned the instructions were terrible and he eventually put them to the side and just did it himself. So there you have it – the instructions are genuinely awful! I would not recommend this product unless you are supremely confident in your construction skills.As for the actual cases, they are pretty cute. Durability-wise I think they will hold up just fine because I have them seated on the floor against a wall so the overall weight of the books really is resting against sturdy surfaces. We’re using this as a part of a book-nook that we’re constructing in the basement under the stairs for our burgeoning reader. Since I imagine we will be home during the winter months more often, we wanted to create a little spot for our kiddo in her playroom (the basement) where she could have a quiet space to curl up and enjoy a good book. I think these will work out well for our purposes, and honestly would be so cute to see in a preschool/kindergarten classroom since they are the perfect size for small hands. But, they were such a pain to put together because of their wretched instructions that unless you have someone that is really good at building things, I would recommend looking at a different product. For reference, I have built plenty of furniture and have rarely encountered something with such poor instructions.

Cheap. Not worth the money. I was using them for a book fair and they collapsed with a few thin paperback books.
