I needed a fan to extract fumes and this worked great. the one I got locally were more expensive and just did not have the cfm but this lived up to its specs. its also very quiet as the local fan I was using was super loud. This fan I can barely hear when running.

It's a good little fan so far, I'm using it to pull air out of a DIY airbrush booth and it's working well do far, would been nice to be able to have an on and off switch or control the speed but I know I can buy a separate attachment to do so.

I am using this as a circulation fan, connected by 6" insulated flexible duct, moving warm (hot) air from the top of a vaulted ceiling, thru some attic space and back down to floor level. (There was no place for a ceiling fan, and I don't like ceiling fans!) We are using a heat pump in the space, this helps to get the light hot air back down to floor level. It is working, I may have to add some more insulation to the duct in the attic section! that is not the fault of the fan. It is a great fan for the purpose! Very quiet! I do hear the air moving. I can also hear the fan, I think the "hum" sound is traveling thru the "stud" it is attached to. I will be adding some foam isolation to the mount.
