We liked the different modes of the game -- lights only or lights and music. We liked the 2 choices of fishing poles (magnets or hook). The switch was easy to operate for young kids. The game was too fast for 3 years old. We would turn game off for a 3-year-old to catch a fish.

My 3 year old was so excited and still gets elated and loves it after a couple months of having it! He loves “Going fishing!” Every feature is great, music and lights, cute little fish, and 2 different kinds of fishing poles, the magnets make it easier for little kids and the hook poles are a little harder but it is so fun! DEFINITELY recommend for family time and playtime alone or with other kids! Lots of laughs!

Just like the title stated, this worked as well as I hoped it would. My 3 year-old is maybe slightly too young for it, but it is still a lot of fun for him to play with and it has held up to him being a bit rough with it at times. It will be perfect probably for him in a year or two, and it seems like it will last until then, barring him doing something completely bonkers with it (which is possible with young crazy boys, lol). I would recommend, and if anything changes I will update my review!
