I prefer these plastic ones over the metal ones, even though I prefer the metal look the welds never ever hold on them. While the price on these is a bit steep and can get quite pricy when needing multiple pair's, they do last with proper storage. As much as a pain as it is I suggest taking them out of the sun when not in use. Not only will it keep them from fading as quickly, it stops them from getting brittle. The main fail points of these cups in my experience are the hopes you slide the pin through. Just something to keep in mind.

Very happy with the product, but could not communicate that my order was incomplete without putting it in a review (???) Of course had to put poor because the order was messed up. Very strange that there is no way of communicating that.

Pros:Well designed cups made of polymer (doesn't rust or dent)Good pins with holes to secure them to the cupsWide enough to fit standards of multiple widths and hold rails of multiple diameterCons:Pins are connected with flimsy nylon stringOrder arrived with pieces missing (cups, pins); one set of cups completely missingBottom line - the cups work well and are just right for long-term outdoor use, however I will NOT buy from OSO10 again. My order of 14 cups was split into two orders. I noticed this and wondered why that would happen as it has not happened before (in the past 200+ orders on Amazon). The 'two' orders arrived in two separate boxes. One box of 10 and one of 4 cups. The box of 10 was complete, however the box of 4 was a different story. Of the 4 sets of cups (2 cups per set, each cup with 1 pin = 2 cups and 2 pins in a set) we received:Set 1 - nothing...literally an empty plastic sleeveSet 2 - one cup with one pinSet 3 - two cups and one pinSet 4 - two cups and one pinIt seems obvious that the seller knew 10 sets of cups were complete and 4 were not, split the order accordingly and hoped I would accept this?

Buyers be aware that the shipment will probably be the wrong number of items. I ordered four sets of cups and only got 4 cups total...I had to communicate with Amazon customer service but it all worked out in the end and these cups are excellent! The string could be substituted for something more durable, but the cups will last forever!

Very well made and easy to use. They are plastic but very thick and sturdy. My horse has clipped the poles over and over and no damage to the cups. Love them!
