Purchased this for our kids and they love it! If it’s going to be left filled I highly recommend a cover and filtration system be utilized.

After filling the fool came out next morning to pool leaking from bottom somewhere. Am I going to dump 800 plus gallons of water to return it, no. Just very disappointed and will never buy another one.

This one. Easy set up, consistently excellent goods every time. I have a kayak and this is the third pool I’ve bought. Every time I roll it up floor the season, one of the kids talks me into giving it to them for next year. All three are still fully functional with no leaks and pumps till running strong.

What I was worried about was the top part that is filled with air. Make sure you don't overfill, due to expansion from the heat. So far so good, it has held and stayed filled. It's been 2 weeks . Very strong material. It is slightly on a slant, so don't overfill with water. Great price for a 10 ft pool

I live in Texas, it is hot and miserable in the summer. This pool offers a great respite from the heat! It was easy to set up, and overall good quality. The cons (for me) is that the inflatable ring isn't very heavy duty and was punctured easily by some critter crawling on it at night. It also arrived with a small hole in the bottom which was difficult to locate after filling it up, it wasn't immediately noticeable until the next day, I was able to fix it with some flex tape. Overall, this pool is still a good deal for the price and helps beat that summer heat!

First off, of course it's a toddler sized pool. 8 ft means outside diameter. Secondly, no it doesn't come with a filter and no "it's not a requirement" as the pool comes with plugs to close off the filter tubes. (But we already had a filter from a prior Intex pool). Thirdly, the air valves on all their pools are generally poor and this one is no exception. As soon as you pull out the pump, the flap that is supposed to hold the air does nothing so you have to move fast to put the plug in. And we shall see if it can keep enough of a seal. My past experiences with Intex pools are if you are lucky, you will get one summer season out of it and then throw it away. They just start to leak air and it's not obvious where it's leaking so it becomes trash. For some that price is worth a few months of getting wet or getting kids wet. I like it, as a senior, just to lay in and cool off some in the TX summer although to me, it's not worth the extra cost in water or in chemicals to keep algae from building up. Better off just taking a cool bath or shower.

Update 2024: Our 10x24 pool is STILL going strong. I honestly can’t believe it. The neighbors bought a similar brand last year and theirs broke within a month, but ours is still amazing. We just take it down each winter and dry it off and roll up into storage. The Intex cover we bought originally dried/cracked after two years but the pool itself moved its location this past year and it does great whether you put a cover on top or a tarp beneath it or just set it up as is. A filter and chlorine is a MUST as it holds nearly 1000 gallons, but the material holds up if stronger shock or other pool chemical adjustments are needed.2021: This seems sturdy enough - the actual pool walls/bottom are thick. I am nervous about the top ring and am hoping for the best. I also purchased the Intex brand pool cover that fits perfectly and I can drop down inside the pool to help it warm faster. The setup is fast and easy and it connected to my Summer Waves pump easily. We live in town and do not have a fenced yard so we needed a water level of 18 inches or less - this pool met that requirement. For only 18” deep, this pool is deep enough for my small kids to feel comfortable practicing using their paddle boards without the fear of the water overtaking them. It’s also deep enough for me (5’ 7”, 140 lbs) to comfortably float around on my back or a floaty bed. When I sit on my bottom, the water level comes up to my shoulders. So far we’ve been able to fit up to four kids and an adult at once as long as they are not on flotation devices.

The design of this pool makes it easy to inflate and fill. The top ring inflates not the entire pool which will help to eliminate punctures. The pump is an added bonus keeping the water clean. The filter and hoses are very easy to clean. I believe this pool will last for several summers of fun. It’s large enough for adults and is the perfect depth for toddlers
