I don’t really know if this is a good product or not since my complaint is about the shape it came in. The box came super torn up and retaped. After trying unsuccessfully to put it together I realized that it wasn’t working because it was missing 2 poles and 1 of the steps. Then get this - I couldn’t get the poles to fit into the support base because it was the wrong product number! It needed 11356, but came with 58971), so poles not compatible. Box was munched (I was not aware I was buying a returned product), so I think that the previous owner had the same problem, taped it all up, sent it back, where I then became the proud owner of the mish-mash of parts.That said, the materials and construction do seem of good quality.

We bought this for our kids, 12, 9 & 5 to get in and out of the intex 12x30 pool. They don’t sell a ladder shorter than this. We built a platform on the ladder to make it safer for my 5 year old. It’s been working great.

This ladder is not adjustable to 36” as the description claims. Better suited for taller pools. Needs platform at top for smaller children. My 4 yr old fell trying to step through.Good quality and easy to assemble.

It's a very nice ladder but it is not safe for use by children. I gave a 4 star because it's not adjustable. It's a nice sturdy ladder but it is not adjustable to fit a 36 inch pool, as the description implies. Assembly was simple and the instructions were simple, took maybe 15-20 minutes. The removable exterior steps are a nice safety feature. I'd recommend this even if your pool isn't 42 inchesSecond review: okay after assembling and trying it, I have to change my opinion. It's still a nice ladder but it's not safe for small children
