It’s an excellent item very well built and sturdy and it has an auto lock system so when you shut the door, it locked itself, which is nice then you can never forget to lockI would buy this item again. It is possible to mount it on the wall. It’s good product. Good price fine delivering no problem except the set up. Take some time and be patient. Thank you guys JERRY Dash.

Near easy assembly the lock is a great feature. Fits perfect between my computer desk. With a metal frame it’s very durable and doesn’t wobble. The screws match perfectly with a couple extra. Good size to file my school supplies and taxes.

The only reason this is getting even one star is I couldn't submit this review without at least one star. I wish there were minus stars. This file cabinet is very flimsy. The carboard box it was shipped in is more substantial. I will give them this, it was well packed for the trip from China.The metal is so thin and soft that screws strip the predrilled holes with a light torque that can be applied easily with two fingers and a light touch.I don't know why they think one needs a hammer to assemble a file cabinet, but it comes with a cute little plastic hammer that weighs in at 52 grams. For reference, the wireless mouse for my computer weighs 74 grams. Even at that featherweight, that hammer can dent and bend the metal of this cabinet. The only screw holes that lined up were the 4 that holds the top to the sides and the screws that hold the 4 plastic feet to the base. The holes to attach the back to the sides did not line up so I used pop rivets to hold the side and back pieces together and installed them from the back going in towards the front. The back has channels that are to mate with the sides and they are such a tight fit that the back channel deformed and didn't engage properly.The person who designed this has never assembled it at home or anywhere else.Do not give this as a gift, the recipient will curse you.

I bought 2 of them. Good thing that I only opened 1. I put it together and the drawers do not open and shut. You have to yank on the drawer to get it to open. You have to shove it to get it to close all of the way. We checked and rechecked the tracks. It is a design defect. Very cheap materials. This is what makes online shopping difficult. You never know what you are going to get and how it is made.

This was honestly very easy to assemble, the quality was surprisingly good. It looks nicer than the one I bought at Office Depot for a lot more and it matches my office much better. Definitely something I would buy again if I needed more.

It works fine, but “easy assembly” it is not. I’m not the most spatial person, but I can usually figure out directions. This took me forever, and I felt like a contortionist at various points in the process.

I am changing my review from 2 to 4 stars. Once the unit is together it provides good storage for a home or small office.The issue with holes not lining up, I drilled new holes.The issue with horizontal support bracket not fitting, I drilled new holes and added screws myself.In addition to a good screw driver, you will need to have a power drill/bits and screws on hand.
