This product is so ease to use! I used the labels first to move into our home. Then once unpacked, I used them for storage. A wonderful purchase. The app is easy to use and I love that I can take pictures of what is in each tote so I can read and see what is inside.

My wife wanted a new tote storage system and asked about QR label. Built the storage racks in the pic, bought new totes and these labels. Had everything built, set up and most importantly, organized in a day thanks to FREE app for these labels. Easy and intuitive and even lets you add pics to each code. This was one of the easiest and fun honey-dos we’ve ever done together because the QR labels took a lot of guess work out of the process! And the labels cost less than $20!

How did I live without these Intelligent QR Labels? They make organizing and storing so much easier! The ability to **itemize tote contents** with titles, descriptions, photos, and locations is a game-changer. The **search feature** and Alexa integration are incredibly convenient. Perfect for moving, storage, or disaster recovery—these are a must-have!

So, my sister is a person who LOVES organization, but doesn’t often have the time or the proper systems in order to do so (e.g., the storage bag for giftwrap doesn’t fit all of the rolls, doesn’t have a place for large-sized bags, etc). I bought her this as a side gift, and holy moly, she LOVED it. She spent her Xmas holidays organizing and finally putting away bins, since the app allows a person to take multiple photos, organize by room, enter details (to the extreme). She ended up buying multiple kits for other people whom she showed it to. My dad is finally now organizing a large bin of computer wires that he had given up on- it’s honestly great.I could see a system like this becoming a built in app on future phones, just because it makes things so much easier. For future releases, I would hope for tagging abilities—I really think this would make this product complete. But honestly, it’s wonderful even without.

The whole system is easy to use. Our two youngest love problem solving so I downloaded the app, gave them minimal instructions and left them to it. They quickly figured out how to add a new location and entered the codes one sheet at a time. They were able to figure out all necessary functions wo my help. If a 7 and 9 year old can figure it out, I’m sure you can too!We decided to enter all of the qrs codes before affixing them to an actual location. Each sheet was virtually put in a location we don’t physically have.We precut the codes prior to scanning so they would fit neatly in a small stack and ensure the intended code was scanned. The camera is quick to recognize and read qrs codes and bar codes. The speed in which everything loads is key to the usefulness of this app.I can scan existing bar codes and for the most part, the item populates instantly and I move on. So far it has recognized everything that Amazon sells. Harbor Freight exclusive items are the only ones that haven’t populated. We placed the codes in the utility room and the garage. All we have to do is grab a code, peel the sticker and slap it on the container. We add the items, change the virtual box location to match the actual location and we are done in a few mins. This is a pretty awesome little set up!But there are a few things that would make it practically perfect:1. Leave some space on each sheet between the stickers or perforate them. We wanted to put them in a small water resistant container bc some were going in the garage. We didn’t want to mess with keeping whole sheets clean and dry. The codes are huge! I have poor eyesight and I can easily see them. I’d rather have smaller stickers that are easy to separate even more so than I would like for them to be water resistant.2. Add generic bar codes to the set. They can be super simple. Allow us to edit them as we do the other items we inventory. It’s easy to snap a picture and add a description for one item but it’s even easier to scan a bar code if you have multiples or sets.3. Send the codes preloaded. We loaded all of our codes before we did anything else. We didn’t want to loose or destroy any before we actually used them!Have a code inside the package that loads to the app. The customer can then choose if they want to upload all at once or leave it be.4. Personally I would like a guarantee that the app will remain fully accessible for free, despite any changes in the future. At least for the things we have already purchased.

Review of: ToteScan Intelligent QR Labels for organizing & Storage (45 Unique Labels, 2.5"x3") @ $11.99 for 45 labels.I have tried 3 other brands of labels for storage totes. These are by far the best and easiest to use. I cannot imagine how any labels could be more intuitive and user friendly than these are!Likes:You can use dictation to list the items, make the titles, make the descriptions, or you can type them inYou can do all of these things listed above (some brands do not let you do so many)You can scan a bar code of an item and if it finds it, it lists the item in the title for you and provides a stock photo of it tooYou can set the labels/totes to private so no one else with the app can scan them and know what's in them, or you can set them so that anyone with the app can scan them and know (handy for family). You can take all the photos you want of your items to add to your descriptionsYou can move items from box to box with an in-app simple processThere is no difficult learning curve with this app or using theseThese are very reasonably pricedThere are no fees or additional purchases requiredYou can use Alexa to help find thingsDislike (only 1): UPDATE - I found out the way to make custom locations but it changes from the main profile and doesn’t show in the app until I scan the label on the boxes in that custom location. I’m still trying to figure this one out. There is no way to add custom locations. While there is a very large selection of locations to choose from (Garage, shed 1, shed 2, basement, bedroom 1, bedroom 2, bedroom 3, etc. and for examples), you cannot name a location such as "Junior's bedroom" or whatever. At least I could not find a way to do so.I used another reviewer's suggestion and got some recipe card protectors, used index cards to put the labels onto, slipped the cards into the protectors, and then affixed them to the totes that way. This provided a means of reusing the labels should I decide to get rid of a tote or combine them.If you're looking for labels with QR codes for storage organization, these are almost perfect! 5 stars!

All I can say is, where have these things been all my life??? If you move frequently, these will help you kick that up a notch. Very user friendly, adhere quickly to moving boxes and totes, and no more digging through boxes searching for things (especially if you have to stick things in storage for the time being!). I HIGHLY recommend.
