Bought this to install on side of motorhome for nighttime security. Easy installation using tape, but I also used screws for safety. Works perfectly, lasts all night after charging. Remote is needed so I can turn it off if travelling at night. Like the ability to have multicolored lights rotating through. Exactly what i wanted.

This light (photo #1) has the "just right" esthetics that I desired. Upon unboxing, the very first thing I noticed (raised eyebrows) was how extremely light weight it was for it's size, leading me to think: no batt installed or undersized battery. Moving on, I powered the first of two lights on and tested the functions. Buttons have a very reassuring feel initially and left me feeling good about making the purchase overall. I then placed the lights in a position on my screened porch where it received adequate to direct sunlight for three days, before installation. After installing first light on west side of house and setting desired mode, things began to go south. Turn I ng light on 2hrs/DIM the battery apparently drained because it didn't come back on the next day. Up the ladder to check mode and power back on and nothing. Leaving light up to recharge for another day and nothing. Back up ladder to remove light, returning it to initial charging location for a day, then it powered back on. Set light to motion 30sec at 80%, reinstalled and it worked great, picking up motion from +20ft. The next day the light did not turn on. Back up ladder, test pwr button and light flashed on and back off. Uninstalled and returned to initial charging location; light turns on the next day. Same results with 2nd installation on east side of house. I might add that I've previously purchased another Intelamp model (photo #2) and it has worked much better but doesn't meld with the aesthetics of the house like the former. CONCLUSION: nicely designed light COMPROMISED by INADEQUATE BATTERY/SOLAR PANEL CAPACITY!!! Hence my two star ⭐️⭐️ rating. I would've given 3 stars had I not have to climb the ladder so many times, even more with better batt performance. I think I'll just use these as a research project for a bigger battey install. Stay tuned.

Decent light. Starts to breakdown after the first year and will need to be replaced within a few years. Not a very long batterie. Motion sensor goes off from even the smallest bug/insect.

Got the lights during the Amazon prime days. Worked for a few days, then stopped working. Even in direct sunlight, barely lasted 3 hours. Would have returned them for a refund but I waited a day too long. Don’t make the mistake I did.

This product is so helpful! It was easy to install, literally 2 screws and it was up, now as soon as I walk out front with my dog the pathway is lit up, the fact that it is solar is a huge benefit don't have to worry about hard wiring it into electric or having ugly wires or extension cords running all over the place. On top of all that it even has a setting where you can change the color of the light when its not being used to add a nice touch of color to the front of the house. Also I've had this up for a while and the photocell and battery are still going strong. Definitely worth the money, I would absolutely buy another one if I needed it.
