This cpu is a beast I'm able to play my games and while be on discord and on YouTube the speed is nice and the temps are very stable and fairly easy to install

My rig is about 6 years old and, up until lately, had been keeping up with the latest games okay, but has been struggling recently. It has an Asus Prime B250M-A motherboard and was equipped with an Intel i5 7400 from the factory. I had put off a processor change for awhile due to cost, but found this renewed i7 for a steal of a price and took the plunge. Holy crap, the transformation is unbelievable. The graphics now are so much smoother and where before it felt like my system was running on the edge (because it was), it's now barely breaking a sweat. CS2 would frequently crash, but has been stable so far. If you've been on the fence about this upgrade, don't wait any longer, just do it. No regerts!!

Worthless. Bought to replace existing i7-7700 that was shutting off a PC as soon as PC turned on. Knew it was bad i7 when I installed a temporary i5-6400 and the PC booted up no issue, and stayed running for 2 weeks now without issue (other than being slower speed). So I bought this "renewed" i7-7700. Right back to square one. This i7 does not even allow the PC to power up past POST CPU check. Do NOT buy from this vendor as they are selling defective products. I am an IT Guy that has owned a computer repair shop since 2003 and know my way around a motherboard or two. Buyer Beware.....

So far, this refurbished product seems to perform perfectly. It hasn't gotten hot when under load, and I haven't had any blue screens yet or any other anonmolies that suggest it is erroronous. Time will tell how long it will hold up, but as long as it gives me four more years of life out of my Computer I'd say it was worth it. At this point in time, I am impressed with the purchase I made.

I saw this price and my son was asking to max out our current desktop build on a z270 board. It used to mine crypto on a g4400. It does that thing up so much! Great processor and the price was well worth the performance increase. He can play the oculus quest2 wired to the pc now and his graphics and performance is remarkably awesome. Also, I can play Xbox games on the pc so much more amped up! The gtx1060 6gb doesn’t sweat the processor now. they compliment each other very well. 16gb ram, 2tb ssd, this machine rolls now. It’s so old, but now has another lease on life. Awesome upgrade for the cost.
