I purchased this Microprocessor to upgrade my slightly old computer, for which the motherboard only allows up to this processor generation. So far, so good.However, I must say that I was a little disappointed that I did not receive the product in its official retail box, but an OEM unbranded brown box. The processor so far has been working fine, and it's a genuine Intel chip. However, being that it didn't come packaged in its original Intel packaging, I have my doubts this is really a brand-new processor.As a plus I must say they also included a heat fan, which I didn't know I was going to receive (This is not mentioned on the description) but when I first open the box I was afraid for a minute that I had received the wrong product, because what first jumps to your eye is the fan!, the processor was attached to a small compartment on the side. I could have missed it! I didn't need this fan anyway because I have a Corsair liquid CPU Cooler for the processor, but it's appreciated they included a fan.Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase. If something changes, I will update this review.

True little processor; has saved my computer it works and I can now game to my hearts content!Still runs hot like the previous model but as long as you get the correct cooling system for it, all is good!

Got this for my Alienware Aurora R9 and it is my first ever CPU swap.... easiest part of the entire rebuild was the CPU so dont worry :p. Runs fast as heck and I watercooled it and adjusted so my temps are roughly 40 idle, 60 running and spikes at 80 when revved from 0-100. Had no issues with bios or anything like that just upgraded everything like a normal pc.

Short and simple...I got what I ordered. It's a great processor. I don't know why so many fake reviews with the same bad photo. In any case, this is a really nice 8 core hyperthread processor. The price was a little high for me at the time considering some new tech is cheaper, however it was an easy upgrade decision. I9-9900kf is nothing to sneeze at. Install went nice and easy. The only thing I strongly recommend is that you get liquid cooling. The copper core fan is adequate at the stock 3.6ghz. However, using intel speed boost technology it will reach speeds of 4.7 to 5ghz. It goes super fast, but gets really hot, really fast and will throttle back a lot. . I bought the icue H150 liquid cooling system and it took care of that issue. I ran cpu stress test on full load and my temps stay in celcius range of mid 60's no throttling. I have included 4 pictures for verification of the product and the liquid cooling aparatus used to keep this processor safe.

so ive had this cpu for about a month now and im loving it. even switching over from a 7700k this cpu out performs it in every aspect. i currently have it installed in a asus prime z390-a motherboard and over clocked easily to 5ghz on all cores at 1.29v and my temps never break 65c. if your looking for a good gaming cpu i would definitely recommend you buy the KF vs the stock 9900k or the 9900ks save yourself the 40$ and 100$ over the other two cpus and just over oclock to 5ghz yourself all your loosing is integrated graphics but if your a true gamer you already have a dedicated gpu. also about the other reviews of ppl receiving incorrect cpu i was a bit worried when i purchased but was totally happy when i opened my amazon box and saw the real deal 9900kf box and cpu there
