I needed something after shoulder surgery but these are not attractive. Wish they were more tailored looking but I was grateful for the velcro closures. Shoulder surgery is no joke and anyone who struggles with it appreciates the ease of these products. The pretty ones had cheap snaps which are nearly impossible to use, especially if your dominant arm is the injured one. GET VELCRO versions.

The velcro made this shirt easier than those with little plastic snaps, but the neckline is cut high, it has no pocket, and its slightly fitted, so it runs smaller in the mid-section. Comfort wise, I should have ordered a size larger. Velcro also sticks to all kinds of fabric, so it's more awkward to use than I thought it would be. You need to be aware of these things when deciding whether to buy velcro or little plastic snaps.

I recently had heart surgery and thought this would be helpful but it was actually more difficult than a regular t shirt. I was unable to undo or fasten the Velcro strips due to my inability to move my chest a lot. I would imagine these would be great if you have a nurse or someone to do it for you and can see how it would make their job easier but it didn't work for me. It is very soft material but I could feel the seams rubbing me and was not a fan.

Got this for my grandfather in a nursing home after having a stroke, this was a GAME CHANGER. He no longer has to wear uncomfortable, baggy hospital gowns and has a sense of individuality again.

I bought this for my husband to wear after a surgical procedure. It has worked out well because it's lightweight and not complicated to put on. I washed it before he wore it and it came out fine., the same as when it went in the washer. The blue color is nice and the shirt isn't ugly. He says it's comfortable which is extra important after an operation.

Post op shoulder surgery. I like being able to wear a comfortable shirt and button shirts didn’t work for me when I did my other shoulder.This is nice, I do need assistance lining up the closures. The material is soft and the closures are placed so my sling doesn’t place pressure on them.Washes well, dries without shrinking or twisting. Should be sold in a two pack so I will always have one ready. Moves well for physical therapy.

Wonderful for use after total reverse shoulder surgery, when movement restricted and wearing a sling, easy access to incision to check dressing or change it. So glad I found these for my husband! I’m a retired nurse. Could work for other surgical situations or conditions of immobility.
