Had the first unit for a number of years and it sprung the leak. I contacted the company. The lady was so helpful and advised me there was a newer model. It arrived in a couple of days. My handyman was able to replace it without a problem, I am pleased with the purchase

This replaced the same model unit purchased in 2016. That first one serviced the needs for 8 years (which according to my plumber was pretty good as these typically fail after 4-6 years).Even though this model included the filter, opted not to implement the extra connection. The filters are $40 each and are recommended to be changed every 6 months. You may want to purchase the unit without the included filter if you have quality water.

I purchased one of these Insinkerator Hot Water Dispensers and installed Jan 2023. I even purchased a water filter because I read that will make the unit last longer. Less than two years later it was leaking and caused major damage to a brand new cabinet and a newly refinished hard wood floor. This item is either made of inferior materials or they have a major manufacturing issue (or both). They say a picture is worth 1,000 words - see the pictures I took right after I noticed the leak. Again, this unit is less than two years old and my wife used it to fill two cups of hot tea each morning. The metal tank is completely corroded (this picture is after the cheap plastic case was removed). Go ahead and buy this unit if you want something that looks like this.

This really needs to be designed with an emergency drain pan and water alarm. Ours developed a massive leak after 1.5 years. We enjoyed it while it worked. Quite a bit of cabinet damage was done, but our kitchen was ultimately saved by a Govee water alarm. If ISE can't design a tank that doesn't leak, they should build it with a larger pan underneath that has a water alarm so that at least the consumer can shut it off before cabinets are warped/destroyed.It was reasonably easy to get a replacement under the three-year tank warranty.

Product arrived timely and well packaged. However, the tubes to connected it to the water source were not in the box. It plainly said in the manual that they were supposed to be included. Plumber had to leave and go get the tubing and come back. All on my dollar.....

This is an excellent set-up for filtered hot / near boiling water. Cup of tea in seconds, great for chasing off grease when washing up.

I like this product very much, as well as the dual temperature dispenser that works with it. This keeps the water quite hot to make a cup of tea quickly, anytime. But the splitter (see photo) included in the package for use with 1/4 inch tubing leaked like crazy. We had to go to a plumbing supply store to get one that worked. Insinkerator needs to source a new splitter and should test it thoroughly to avoid making consumers run all over the place to make the product work.

After having this unit installed in my kitchen by the plumber I learned the unit is faulty and not working. I tried to return to seller but learned I was 3 days late and that it was no longer returnable. I had to wait for a plumber because we experienced a devastating freeze here in Texas and plumbers were hard to find because they had many pipes to repair that were damaged during the flood. I am hoping the seller will replace a faulty unit. It is not like I changed my mind and no longer wanted it. I simply want one that works and am not happy that I am going to have to pay a plumber a second time to install one that works.
