Made cutting out shower floor pipe easy. Make sure you put a rag in the pipe before you start in case the bit falls out of the drill.

Described as a PVC Pipe Cutter these Allmake 1/4-inch Hex Shank Impact Connect Replacement Saw Blades performed as expected slicing through PVC piping without resistance or pull. There are two different sized replacement blades, a total of five blades to work with, [3] 32mm blades and [2] 44mm blades each made with high steel material that has a rustproof coating and have been heat treated. As one would want these blades are corrosion- resistant and fit perfectly attached to a 1/4-inch hex shank that works well with any impact or regular sized drills. For my purpose besides cutting PVC piping I used these blades with my standard drill to slice a cut into an old desk that I was installing a keyboard platform that would hang underneath the desktop. I needed something to make a large enough opening to affix the tray brackets onto the desk trim. The blade I used was the 44mm blade attached to the 1/4 -inch Hex Shank and it did its job flawlessly without damaging the sharp blade teeth. The was an amateur DIY move to make using this designed PVC cutting blade for woodworking (cutting) but just gives an example of thinking out of the box and making things happen with the tools one must work with – working with these Allmake PVC Pipe Replacement Saw Blades was stress free and productive.

As described, this is useful when there's no easy way to access a PVC pipe that needs cut. But when you do have this problem, this can save the day. I found it works best at higher rpm, like 3000 plus, and move blade slowly into the material. If possible, use the shaft against the pipe to stabilize while cutting. This can tend to jump and dig, but with practice becomes easier to control. Very satisfied with what it offers for the price they ask. A rarely used, but when needed, an indispensable tool to complete the job.As far durability, it comes with spare blades and as long as the blade only cuts plastic, it should hold an edge well. Bumping into any masonry or hitting a nail, not so much.

Good bit to have around. Don't need it often but when you do you'll be glad to have it.Was beefier than I was expecting. Easy enough to swap blades, just a phillips, washer and lock washer. It also comes with extra blades and hardware. As with most cutting tools, a good blade goes a long way to a good cut and this a great companion for a good blade. I don't expect the supplied blades to be the best but I got this for the device, not the blades.Competitive price for the quality of the device. Would recommend.

I had to trim the pipe off for a repair flange, and decided to get this. First, it does work - but be prepared for some chattering and jumping until you are able to get the cut deep enough to get the shaft against the inside of the pipe to support it. I stuffed an old towel into the pipe below the cut in case I dropped something into it, and the chattering caused the drill chuck to loosen and the cutter did fall out. So... it is important to stuff something into the pipe just in case. Also put a line with a marker around the inside of the pipe so you can be sure of cutting squarely - then you can focus on just holding steady and following the line.
