I’ve never sprayed with a paint gun before and let me tell you, watch some videos and it makes the process a breeze. I used a 26 gal compressor to paint 4 wheels base and clear and it worked like a champ. Laid the paint out perfect after following some setup videos online from paint society and got to spraying.I originally bought the gun to paint several full trucks (still have to get to it) but after this little project I have no doubt they’ll turn out very well.Testing the paint gun without paint and running the gun for a while wide open to see how the 26 gal compressor reacts, it looks like I’ll have plenty of pressure to do full vehicles.I was really worried about runs, the gamble in quality of the gun, my first time using it, cleaning, mixing paint etc but it turned out extremely well and can’t be happier. Only problems were my prep. Not all pitted areas of the wheel had enough high build and sanded flat but that’s on me.I sanded high build to 600 grit before laying base and the wheel that was perfect and consistent turned out beautifuly. It is indeed all in the prep. Don’t stress, take your time; and this paint gun will be worth it.

Nice combination of needles to cover a wide range of product. Used the 1.5mm to spray paint for a project. Changed out to the 1.7mm to spray Cerakote Super Grip. Worked flawlessly.

I will start with the one issue I had, which is the water separator has a small leak. I will reach out and ask them to send a new one.Today is my first time using it and I am very happy with it. The D1 has great control over media and air flow. I used a lot less paint with this gun than with other gravity feeds I have used. I saved a lot of material and I didn't get any runs at all. It also didn't not spatter all over the place. I applied my base coat with the 1.3 at 3 bar, and it landed pretty smooth. When I do the hood, I'll try it with the 1.5. For the clear I used the 1.3 again. I got plenty of mils and no runs. The resulting coverage looked great. I can't see myself using my older guns any more. I may just recycle those and pick up another of these. At $100, it is well worth every dime. It fit great in my hand even with the regulator and separator attached. The separator captured everything I didn't want landing on my panels.I definitely recommend, and would buy again.UsedSpeedo-kote Jet Black SMR-9700 kitSpeedo-kote Speedo Clear SMR-100Update. I forgot to ask for a new separator. But I did buy a second one. I love these guns. When my friend asked me to fix some rust on his Dodge Ram, it was the perfect excuse to buy another. Now I have one set for base and one for clear. As you can tell by the last two pictures ( the table and the orange gloves ), they last. And they can deliver a factory finish, even outside. In the table picture you can see the two paint cups. Those are the Innocraft cups, and they fit right onto the cup adapter that comes with your gun. My second gun I bought as a bundle with 22 oz, and ordered 28 oz separately.

Multiple users online used and said what a great LVLP spray gun this was for them. During reviews they went through guns and contents saying how air caps showed no flaws and the finished product after clear coats looked like what you would expect from a decent spray gun that wasn't $300 - $800. First gun showed up and the gun itself looked great. Air cap was flawless and no issues with anything else. Loved that it came with regulator that visually was well made as well as an oil/water separator that looked equally well made but when looking at the additional 1.5 & 1.7 cap and needles immediately you could see what I can only describe as an elderly blind person using a dart they were just throwing at a dart board to try and clean the air cap. Front had a bunch of swirly long scratches and spotty holes where it looked as though the original holes were missed and got dotted with needle like jab marks. On the inside of the air cap there was more of the same but also needle like hole marks in the threads as well. I can't imagine what that paint pattern would have looked like when that turbulent air & paint mixing trying to flow smoothly over all those scratches and pitted holes all over. Ordered a replacement and it was even worse with both additional aìir caps being damaged the same way just now both were no good. I must say that if you Ordered this gun just for the gun and not for the extra 1.5 or 1.7 sizes then you should have an excellent gun with a 1.3 size as those both seemed in excellent condition. No response after 3 days so I'm just going to return both DV1 LVLP Drizzles and purchase the R500/610 with the extra caps for $20 less and see how that is. I did see that the original 500 had a taller more uniformed spray pattern than the 610 but just reviews so who knows. Just the gun alone I probably would have given a 5★bur the extra pieces paid for both times were not caught by whatever quality control they have.☆☆☆☆ So I reached out to Inokraft and explained the situation and they immediately took care of the problem thanking me for bringing it to their attention so they could look into it. This gun I bought for my brother and I must say that this gun is amazing for what I payed for it! I have guns that are $400-$500 and honestly there really isn't much difference. This came with a 1.3, 1.5 & a 1.7 cap & needle! I bought another so my brother could use both and not have to have just one for all coatings. I'm probably going to buy another for myself I like it so much! This even comes with a pps 1.0 adapter so it's ready to go! Good fan pattern lays paint smooth and the clearcoat came out perfect. Used it with EGC 22TT HS Primer Filler, Valpar LVBR 100 series liquid pearl basecoat 47A Black Mica ( 99 Impreza ) & Acme Finish 1 FC770 clearcoat. This gun was flawless and subaru looks like it rolled off the assembly line yesterday! Used to only see the red pearl under the black when it was wet while washing but especially phenomenal in the sunlight! I would recommend this gun to any and all. This forged gun is fantastic!
