Maybe it's because I haven't skated in more than 10 years? But it's my fault for not looking for a skate that has a wide option. But MAN the outsides of my flat feet hurt. I can only skate up my street for a bit then I have to take a seat. The skates fit tight (even after I completely loosen the buckles) and just my natural foot sitting within the skates can't get relief. I have to completely remove my skates for my feet to be able to recover.However, I'm still trying to make sure if it's my feet, or the skates. I'm on my 4th session within 2 weeks and I'm seemingly able to tolerate more, but I want to make sure that I'm actually doing this feet pain correctly or not.What I mean is, I don't know any experienced skaters, are my feet just going to have to get used to it? Am I supposed to eventually build strength in the small muscles of my feet and shins/calves to properly support my weight while skating?When I was younger, my feet hurt too, but I remember the hurt because I had been skating for 45-60 minutes. It was fun back then, now it hurts.

The wheels come really stiff. If you didn't know anything about assembling skates, you're stuck with it ... literally. They look great, but it's hard to get them truly tight. They're comfortable and they ride smoothly.

These skates work perfect, I just bought them as I finally grew out of my old skates. There's a little bit of a learning process to get used to the uneven wheel style but once you get used to it, it feels so much better. The straps are snug, and it's much easier to maneuver compared to the normal skates. Definitely worth the purchase.

Keep in mind the packing looked undamaged in both cases. There is a small crack in the skate near the upper buckle on the skates. First pair came with two a cracked in the plastic on both skates and the second was only on the right skate. Terrible quality. Cheap and horrible visual branding too. At least you can scrape off the stickers though (use Goo Gone if you do).

My oldest son loves them and once we figured out how the laches to tighten them to skate and loosen to take off, he was off! Good quality and light weight and fast.

The skates work great, super smooth and comfortable. The only negative reviews appear to be on how to install the brake. There are no instructions so here you go. Using the provided tool first remove the back 2 wheel axels and replace them with the ones that come in the bag with the brake. These wheel axels are threaded for the screws that will hold the brakes on. Now you can attach the brake to the outside of the back 2 wheels!
