You would think for $80 you'd get decent looking skates. My last pair that I got for $80 from Academy lasted me a good 12 years, and didn't look like someone cut through cheap plastic with a dull knife. I mean, look at the pictures I added... super cheap looking. They are hard to tighten around the ankles, which is important for skating. Also, the brake didn't come installed on the skate already, and I had a hell of a time figuring out how to install it without any instructions provided. Just not worth no $80. Maybe $40, not $80.EDIT: Actually took a long ride in them, and changed my review to a 1 star. After spending so much time trying to tighten them as much as I could, the damn things came loose after skating for about 30 minutes, making skating wobbly and difficult. Don't waste your money here, buy something better.EDIT: And another thing, the brake completely broke off after a few weeks of use. Rollerblade, the company, recently recalled one of their skates for a brake failure just like what I've experienced. They don't want anyone to risk falling due to the failure. Sure wish this "company" felt the same. Do not get these blades, buy something more reputable.

True to size, decent ankle support. It comes with the laces separately and the brake/stop separate. It comes with hardware to screw the brake on. One of the screws broke as I was trying to tighten it, but after messaging the seller through Amazon, they replied quickly and were happy to send me more. I read in different reviews from multiple other sellers that are selling different skates on amazon that their screws also broke, so be sure to not tighten it too much, just enough. Great customer service. Still I have no idea how to put on the laces. The box does not come with any directions for anything so you are on your own. But love these skates and this purchase. Please buy knee pads and ones for your hands and elbows too.
